Perfect location and size

This was perfect for me and 4 teenagers who don’t drive yet; it was 1/2 block from the beach, clean, safe, quiet, near many restaurants; kids could travel in pairs from here without any concern; The Wave trolley was always avsilable; place was oerfect

The only positive thing about this property is that it's conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The cleanliness is horrible. There were roaches and other bugs inside the unit/cottage. The sheets in the sofa bed were dirty and stained plus there was a bug crawling over it. I didn't bother contacting the person in charge to report this because I was so upset that I feared I would engage in an argument. Arriving to a dirty and bug infested rental house made our stay uncomfortable.

Manager kept in communication with me starting 2 days before. He met us at the neach house and explained everything and gave us a notebook with every business on the island. It was very relaxing and we plan on returning next year

Great vacation house. Close to everything. Host was extremely helpful and nice. Great to have the washer/dryer available. Would like to have had a couple more towels and wash cloths. Kitchen had pots/pans, plates, glasses, and utensils, everything you would need. Would definitely stay here again.

Good Location But Apartment Needs HELP

Good Evening, I recently rented this unit over this past weekend. There were a lot of things that were of concern. First off the ceiling was falling down in the kitchen from apparently an upstairs client who left the water running and caused a hole in the ceiling. Looked VERY unsecured. I think I could have done a better job securing it to the ceiling. Dry wall imperfections throughout the unit were also cause for concern. Mildew possibilities in the restroom. Second was the ROACH infestation I had in the kitchen and restroom. I killed about 5 roaches in a 3 day period of time!!! This is completely unacceptable. My kids SCREAMING all about a ROACH!!! This made out stay completely unacceptable and not at ease. Especially having a roach crawl over our pizza an hour after if was ordered. The floor in the kitchen being cracked was not good either.... my husband didn't even want to hang out in the condo because it didn't meet his expectations. The roach problem is MAJOR..... I was not happy with our stay and I felt like if I closed my eyes long enough a roach was going to crawling all over me or my family. Our stay was not pleasant. The above was sent to the hotel facility and the the response I got back was that they would take care of it. Not even a partial refund!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Great vacation spot, house and experience.

We loved staying and going to S. Padre Island. Beach house was nice, spacious and had great access to the beach. I only wish we could adjust the thermostat a bit lower than 74 as the humidity was terrible with the rain we encountered. But otherwise, we can't wait to get back!
