"I love the hotel, the history of the hotel. I love the exact location of the hotel. It has a lot of history when it comes to civilization in America I’m from Detroit, Michigan and I really love the experience of staying near the Alamo. I would do it again and I will recommend anyone who’s going to stay there in the future to make sure you spend time in the Alamo. It’s a lot of history to learn. I consider myself a historian."

"The staff was friendly and provided prompt service when requested. The cleanliness of the rooms need a lot more work. Bathroom curtain looked very old dead spider on it and it was stuck on there. Lots of rust on the bath bath. I understand beach water and sand it’s challenging to keep clean/maintain but it should be a priority. Bedding had stains, hairs ,I didn’t realize it’s pet resort friendly prior to booking so maybe people let their pets sleep on the bed cause that’s what the hair looked like. Parking lot needs work pot holes and no painted lines for charging daily price it should be used to maintain the parking lot. It was alright. But convenient to be on the beach and the pool was very nice."

"There was a bit of delay and lack of communication with the rooms not being ready however totally understandable due to being holiday weekend however wasn’t our fault they where in a snappy mood Over still an excellent stay very appreciated being dog friendly room as very clean My go to hotel for any getaway"

"Normally in the past my stay has been very good, but this time I'm disappointed. The hot water was not available for any extended period of time. Maintenence came to the room ran the water for 5 minutes before hot water became available. It was only 5 minutes after I was already running it for 5 minutes. We had to take quick showers because we never knew of the hot water was going to become cold. We had to plan our showers accordingly to make sure we didn't have to rush to be somewhere. We didn't want to change rooms because we thought we could deal with it, but it became harder to predict the hot water status. Also we didn't want a room near the elevators. They are very loud. I could hear them from my corner room. I hope this was a one off situation. The hotel is in a great location and is otherwise a good hotel to stay with."
