"The room was very clean, but the staff was excellent!!! 10 Stars!! So kind, so helpful, so courteous, and SOOO Friendly!! We do not speak Spanish, but that was never once a problem...they went out of their way to try to understand our needs and accommodate us. Breakfast, a REAL breakfast everyday...not a continental breakfast that we have experienced elsewhere. Plus the location of the resort could not have been better. Right there on the Beach!!! Ola's Bar and Grill was such a nice surprise!! If anyone goes you must ask for a "Mariah's Margarita!" Or as Edgar calls it an "M & M." The seating and deck outside, so close to the beach, was so pleasant. We had never been to South Padre Island so did not know what to expect but the Sand Rose and their staff exceeded all expectations! We will return!!!!!!"
