Lovely house on a hill with ocean views and a private beach

We spent 5 days at this beautiful property, and enjoyed every minute. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and responded almost instantly to any questions we had.

Best Birthday Ever

From start to finish our stay in Bermuda was amazing. Lorna is the best host ever and was readily available when we had any questions. The location was amazing and the beach was perfect. Easy to get transportation for any excursions. I wish I was waking up in Bermuda again for breakfast on the patio. We’ll be back for sure !

Gemstones family getaway

My family spent 4 nights at Gemstones and had a great time! Gemstones unit was extremely comfortable. Slept 6 (2 couples, 2 singles) comfortably using the loft. Ate in several times, kitchen was well equipped. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and the snorkling was great! Lorna lives on site and is extremely responsive during check in and answering any questions we had. There were other guests in the smaller unit but we barely knew they were there. Walkable to Gibbs Lighthouse and Henry VIII for great chicken for lunch and sushi! Great sunsets and sunrises from the deck..the view was unbelievable! Would absolutely stay there again.

Gemstones is truly a Gem

We celebrated our 40th anniversary with our entire family. We had such a wonderful time at Gemstones. Lorna's place made you feel like you were home. All of us will remember this trip for a lifetime. Looking forward to going back to Bermuda. What a beautiful island!

Paradise has been found!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Gemstones. The view was literally breathtaking (I gasped when we first walked in the house). The beach that is down the steps is beyond gorgeous. And Lorna is the absolute best host. The home had everything we needed and more. We can't wait to book again.

Family Vacation

Gemstones was the perfect spot for our family. 6 adults and 2 children. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals when we didn’t eat out. Snorkeling gear was great to have . It is a short walk to Church bay where you can snorkel (big beautiful fish swimming close to beach). The kids loved having the beach right there. We stayed in main house and had plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful Spot On The Cliff

We stayed here as a family and it was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving weekend. It is nestled up against a gorgeous secluded beach, with stunning views from the windows. It feels like staying in a family home, and is well appointed with all your needs. It's in a central location of the island that feels more residential but is still walking distance to a couple restaurants.

So good to be back!

This was our third time staying at beautiful Gemstones, and we absolutely love it!! We have a large family and there is more than enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably, as well as all the amenities a family needs (well stocked kitchen, laundry, beach toys, chairs, etc). Most of all, you can’t beat the location, I would’ve been more than happy to swim, snorkel, and build sandcastles on Cross Bay Beach every single day! And the view from the gorgeous house is spectacular!! Lorna and Greg are amazing hosts - so friendly and warm, and always quick to respond to any questions you may have. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it!! You will love it just as we do!!

A special place

Lovely, bright, clean, and cool. There is no better place to stay on the island. A stones throw from a beautiful beach, a chef's dream kitchen, and lots of natural light, this is the place to stay!

I can’t say enough about the house, the location or Lorna, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There are some board games, a stocked kitchen, and beach toys and towels. Absolutely a perfect trip. A+

Excellent vacation rental in Bermuda

We had an amazing time staying at Gemstones. It was everything we could have wanted and more. Five adults had plenty of space for work and sleep. Wonderfully stocked kitchen and the views are amazing. Beach is only steps away and is a great place to swim. Would recommend this accommodation to everyone!

The Gemstones was comfortable and well appointed. The owner was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. It had lots to recommend it but the views were out of this world.

Wonderful family trip

Our family stayed in this property for a week, with young children and a grandparent. Everyone enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the beautiful views, and the proximity to the beach. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful when we needed assistance. We had a great time exploring the island, and would absolutely return here for another stay in the future.

Best rental ever in Bermuda

I've been renting for six years from Home Away and VRBO and this was, by far, the best rental ever. This house has it all, from the sub zero fridge and flat screen tv's and comfy beds to one of the best views in Bermuda. Our hosts were very nice people and very accommodating. This one is definitely on our must come back to list!

A Gem!

From the check-in process to our departure, this experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Lorna, our host was amazing, always going above and beyond! Sylvia, our transportation expert was also exceptional. We have nothing negative to say about our experience. The place is more beautiful in person than the photos. The private beach was perfect! Fabulous stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at gemstones. It is an excellent family accommodation with walking distance to private beach. Does not get better than that!!! Mornings watching for whales off the deck! Lorna is a very gracious host taking care of all of our needs. Sylvia was fabulous getting us to where we needed to be We will definately be back!
