"Front desk workers were shockingly surly. All of them. Visibly looked like they hated their jobs, openly talking smack about guests when I was checking in. Really weird, and not just one crew — different people on different days… Maintenance staff in comparison were incredibly friendly. Solid bar and restaurant for a hotel like this with great staff. Reasonable room vs price expectation. I would just stay somewhere else next time with a basic level of hospitality where I don’t feel like a burden using the front desk."

"The hotel features great decor and architecture but this was undermined by a poor experience. The hotel does not have a proper events venue so it uses the restaurant to host weddings and other private events that deny access to the guests of the hotel. Hotel guests should be a priority for this type of hotel and unfortunately that is not the case. We were asked to walk to another restaurant for restaurant service and directed to eat snacks from the minibar instead. During our stay there were several consecutive days including a whole weekend when the restaurant was not made available to hotel guests while charging guests an extra "amenity fee". The hotel has a nice gym but no swimming pool, so the hotel restaurant feels like a minimum thing to count on among amenities."
