"This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The price was great and the room was very clean and welcoming. The Continental breakfast had a lot of really great options that I had not seen at other hotels. Good coffee as well. It was a breath of fresh air after the last hotel we had stayed in, which was pretty terrible. Glad I got the opportunity to experience the Holiday inn Express! Will definitely be staying there again."

3 beds but only used 1. It was plush, perfect for me. Too soft for hubby but he likes extra firm. He didn’t go check out any of the other bed options.
Temp: Host had it cranked down. There are 2 mini-splits and they handle the Texas heat just fine. I had to turn them up (very unusual).
2 restrooms but only 1 shower. Worked for 2 people, but others need to plan accordingly.
Kitchen: we didn’t use it but appeared well equipped.
Safety: in a gated and friendly community. Railings prevent falling into the canyon and are not easily climbable by most youngsters. But, don’t leave little ones unattended here. There are other ways to access the canyon. Railings do impede the view is sitting but there is a high top table/chairs option provided.
Location: easy access to the canyon park and Canyon TX and not far from Amarillo. Park also has a grill serving hamburgers, hot dogs etc, from frozen. They also have supplies and souvenirs. Since they are in the park you’ll have to pay park entrance fees to access it or shows at the amphitheater.
Communication: Host provided self access info in a timely manner. Note: initial access to home is ground floor. Internet worked well. There are TVs but we didn’t turn them on. Host has provided games as well. Would be a great location for a full family. 2 bedrooms and 1 loft. Loft has 2nd toilet. Shower with toilet is on ground floor. "

"The pictures don’t do it justice! The house reminded me off my childhood. My teenagers LOVED it!!! The views were insane. Clean, every detail thought out, & great communication with hosts! Highly recommend! We will be back!"
