"It was a lovely little cottage with all the items needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately we were there during incremental weather and there was a power outage in town for a few minutes and n the first night. You’d need to be prepared for this as Strahan does experience power outages during bad storms and strong winds. That said, it is a lovely town with amazing people. Shops tend to close early too but they have well stocked IGA in town."

"Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park."
