Skamania Lodge

"Dog rooms are only on first floor. Two doubles (not queens) was tight for 3 people and a dog. Note that they charge you a $75 dog fee plus daily parking and resort fees separate from what you pay Expedia. They said that you could eat on patio with dog but the restaurant with patio is not open for breakfast. We got food to go. They said it would be 30 minutes but was 90 minutes. Then they forgot the syrup, fruit and potatoes! The food was good at least. Restaurant staff not helpful or knowledgeable. They should just say we are busy and it will take 90 minutes. We would have gone into town. In the summer be prepared for weddings and conferences. It is a popular spot. The room was clean and if you get a room with a view, it is beautiful. Grounds are nice and well cared for."

"We had a great time together as a family. The room was wonderful and the staff were great to work with. Elevators were slow, and there were areas that were very congested and hard to move around through."

"Clean room. Easy check in and out. Hot tub works mediocre - the jets need some life. Pool area nice. You can go outside to a deck area. Casino clean and busy!! Overall, a nice hotel."

"We came for a concert at the Cascades Amphitheater, and the proximity while being an incredibly cozy and comfortable stay was perfect. Staff was great upon check in and check out and the room was spacious. Didn’t get a chance to use the rest of the facilities but I’ll be back!"
Lewis River Inn

"We just stayed at this hotel and had such a great stay! The property is right on the Lewis River and the grounds are meticulously maintained. There are lovely trees and flowers. We sat for hours on our private deck watching the river go by and listening to the birds. The staff was amazing. Kind and truly friendly. The continental breakfast we enjoyed was generous. Yogurts, fruits, pastries, bagels and other breads. As well as instant oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, and my favorite, waffles! We hope to visit again soon"
