"Montisi is a quaint village that is anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour drive to fabulous hill towns and wine tasting. The house is simple but charming. We spent most of our time while at the house by the pool, dining on the terrace and enjoying the beautiful views and sunsets. The kitchen is well appointed and with 4 women, we each enjoyed having our own bathroom. Luigi is a gracious host and provides excellent recommendations. I have every intention of returning! "We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. "The Suite is a lovely house, beautifully decorated and furnished and thoughfully equipped. The grounds and pool are gorgeous and perfect for just spending time, relaxing and enjoying the scenery. There are so many interesting places within a 30 minute drive and we'd certainly recommend walking to Monteriggioni along the Via Francigena."

"This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. "The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. Overall however, it was a lovely stay! Grazie."
