Please read this description before renting. Beautiful log home on a 17 acre farm. The second story is for rent. Three bedroom, 1 bathroom, a large family room. Beds for 8 but room for more. Horses, Batting Cage, Trampolines, Sand Volleyball Court, 26' Rope Tree Swing, 14' tall-90' long Slip & Slide, Fire Pit, Barbeques, and camping all available on site. Great for family reunions. Have had up to 150 people at once. The back yard is a mini amusement park! Plenty of shade trees. You can check out our swing by typing in epic backyard swing in your search engine. Horse rides and horse riding lessons available on request. Plenty of room for a camp trailer if you have friends that want to join you. Living room features a 90 year old pool table, a pop corn machine, a video arcade machine and a cozy fireplace. Come for the with the experience!

Weekend Getaway

We love the hosts and the property. This was a great find for us for our family. I think our boys played pool for three days straight. The backyard is great and our youngest daughter had the chance to ride a horse. (For an additional fee)

Great getaway

Nice property, great host. My daughter had a great time with all the animals and playing in the spacious backyard. It was nice to have her enjoying something other then electronics. Papa Kand momma K treated us just like family. Will definitely go back

Warm Home, New Friends

We had an amazing vacation visiting several National Parks in UT. The bonus of our trip was having two wonderful nights at the Log Cabin and getting to know the Kidman family. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We admired their animals, enjoyed the conversations, had a large private space for our family and even got to play in the backyard on their trampolines and huge rope swing. It gave our vacation a personal touch and now we have new friends on the other side of the country. I highly recommend their home. We hope to go back someday. The Dixon Family

The upstairs area was spacious and very comfortable. My 4 children loved everything about this place. The horses, trampolines, swing and water slide put this place over the top. My husband and I loved Mama and Papa K's hospitality. It took some getting use to sharing the kitchen downstairs but with the small fridge and microwave upstairs we made it work without much inconvenience. My kids have asked for us to stay here every time we come to visit family here in Utah (my local family have asked the same thing too) What impressed me the most was how much entertaining we did here. My local family gathered here because of the space provided upstairs and the fun back yard. Mama K and Papa K made everyone feel welcomed. We also utilized the horseback riding lessons and trail rides offered. We throughly enjoyed everything these accommodations offered. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We are going to miss our host family. I found out more information about this place after I had reserved it on HomeAway.com, on airbnb where Papa K told me they receive most of their business from. They have great reviews there. Just make sure you are aware that you are not renting the house or a full apartment. There is no full kitchen in the rental space. But you have access to their kitchen downstairs that they are very willing to share, plus two fridges and freezers in the garage for your use, plus gas grills outside and a fire pit. We loved our stay here.

A family that shares the wonderful blessing of their home and family .

What a wonderful place to bring the family to!!!!! Loved it!!!! Beautiful home log cabin style with western theme decor. Just beautiful!! So much to do right in the backyard from feeding chickens, 2 rope swings, water slide, sandbox with digger, volleyball court, 5 trampolines of different heights, a self propelled merry go round, picnic tables & chairs, fire pit and grill. Indoors there is a big pool table, an 80's style arcade game, a good size tv with some videos, books, large closet full of toys. The upstairs has its own separate air conditioner controls along with a full bathroom with tub, microwave, small fridge, plenty of seating in family room. Comfortable beds. Towels and bedding all provided. In there garage they have a freezer and fridge and bottle cooler available to use. Our Hosts mama and papa K were so friendly. I felt safe and welcomed. Beautiful views of the mountains. With permission we could use the laundry & their kitchen and dining table all located down stairs. They also have a piano room just off the entrance that is available. My grandchildren really enjoyed playing with the hosts grandchildren. They were so friendly. Horse lessons or just have the horse walked while you ride is available. The grandchildren sure enjoyed this. I would highly recommend this place!!!!! I felt very comfortable and relaxed in their home. How wonderful to have a family that shares the wonderful blessing of their home and family with others!!!! Thank you from grandma Rosy

The place has a lot of fun

Pool table, arcade, spacious 2nd floor are all ours for the stay. Besides they have 5 trampolines, water slide, swings and sand volleyball. Great place for big gathering

My kids and I had a wonderful time! I wish we hadn’t had so many obligations while we were in town because our kids didn’t ever want to leave the property. The Kidmans are the model of hospitality. We would definitely return!

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect for what we needed. Also had plenty of space for us. My kids loved playing on the pool table and arcade game during some of our down time.

Stay and play!

Very comfortable and enjoyable, plenty of room for sleeping. Kids had fun playing pool, air hockey and watching TV. My son loved the arcade style Pacman video game. The log cabin style home was nice. Wish it hadn't been raining, so we could've enjoyed the fire pit to roast marshmallows or play more outside. Maybe next trip! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, fantastic hosts

This is such a gorgeous area, and the property was outstanding for my wife and children. The kids loved playing on the swings and trampolines, feeding the chickens, meeting the horses and enjoying the large grassy yard. The loft we stayed in had plenty of toys and was great for the whole family. Mama and Papa K were super friendly, super accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a marvelous experience, for which I am very grateful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a break from city life.

Perfect quick stay before heading home

This was a great comfortable place to stop for the night and regroup before we flew home the next day. The beds were controllable and it has lots of places to just relax and play. Owners were very nice and accommodating.

A Lovely Treat on Our Trip!

This was such a lovely treat on our trip! We knew prior to our stay that there were plenty of fun things to do at this location, but we didn't realize just how special it would be for our family. The owners were incredibly welcoming and genuine. They provided more than a stay, but a complete experience! We enjoyed the animals on the farm, the trampolines, the swings, the pool table, the arcade game, the toy "room" and so much more! There was plenty of space for our family of 8 - a range of big kids and littles. I can't say enough about the thoughtfulness of the owners and the unique opportunity we had staying here. The kids can't stop talking about it! We will most definitely be back!!

Loved the house! Very detail on it! The host couple were very attentive to us and friendly! They have a beautiful view of the mountains and a big backyard that even if we didn’t use since it was snowing, it invites us to go back in the summer. Very good experience hosting a small college roommate reunion here. The backyard is like a little fairground with fun swings, trampolines, volleyball court, batting cage and more. Also lights up great in the dark. Mama K was very friendly. The place is so fun and well furnished. Has everything you need and more

Mama and Papa K made us feel so welcome and we had an amazing time! So many fun things to do in the backyard, but the best was the slip and slide you climbed up about 15 feet to! Wish we'd had more time there!!

Perfect place to stay with kids

This is the one, especially if you have kids. The kids played so much in the backyard and with all the indoor toys too. They were giddy with excitement and slept so well after eventful days. Mamma Kay and Mr Kidman were so helpful and easy to talk to they felt like an extra Grandma and Grandpa. We contacted their daughter and all 3 kids (ages 7, 5, 4) were able to ride one of the horses (Sully). The kids fell in love with the animals and didn't want to leave. When we have the opportunity to come back to Utah, we would love to stay with the Kidmans again.

AMAZING!!

We surprised our two daughters, ages 11 and 9, for a weekend away to somewhere quite and out of the city. This was the perfect place! The girls were swinging on the tree swing non-stop, jumping on the trampolines, petting Larry (the mini pony) and the cats. We are such an amazing stay and the cherry on top was Papa and Mama K!! What incredible people and completed the whole experience! They welcomed us with open arms, made sure we had everything we needed and had amazing stories to share! This should be a must visit if you want to get away and be around amazing people. Thank you Papa and Mama K for opening up your house to our family and creating such a beautiful memory for our family!

It was fun!

We had a great time! It was perfect for us. We enjoyed the pool table and the space and the yard. My kids really liked the big swing, the trampolines, and the fun toys that were available. It was great to have fun instead of being stuck in a boring hotel.
