Lake House Rules & Policies
Our goal is to provide every guest with a relaxing, five-star lake experience while respecting our home, neighbors, and community. Thank you for helping us care for the property and ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
General House Rules
• No smoking anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Violation of this policy will result in a $500 fine.
• No parties, events, or large gatherings. Violation of this policy will result in a $500 fine.
• Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM.
• Maximum Occupancy: 8 guests.
• A $500 security hold is required and may be used to cover damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or rule violations.
• Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
• Visitors who are not included in the reservation must be approved by the owner prior to arrival.
• Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire before booking. Unauthorized pets will result in a $500 fine.
Please Respect Our Neighbors
This property is located in a quiet, family-friendly lake community with nearby waterfront neighbors. Sound travels easily across the lake and surrounding homes, and excessive noise is often reported by neighbors. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate and respectful throughout their stay.
Property Use
• Please do not move furniture.
• Avoid bringing wet towels and dripping swimsuits inside the home. Please use outdoor areas to dry off before entering.
• Dispose of trash in the designated bins provided.
• Help protect our septic system by flushing toilet paper only. Do not flush wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other items.
Porch Safety
Please do not lean, sit, climb, or push against the screened-in patio enclosure. The screens and framing are not designed to support the weight of a child or adult. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
Furniture Weight Limits
Please use all furniture as intended and be mindful of the following limits to help prevent damage and injuries:
• Maximum weight for outdoor chairs: 350 pounds per chair
• Maximum weight for the swinging bench: 400 pounds total
Lake & Boathouse Safety
• Use the dock and boathouse at your own risk.
• Children must be supervised at all times near the water.
• No diving from the dock where water depth may be unsafe.
• Life jackets are required when using boats, paddleboards, kayaks, or other water toys.
• Guests assume all responsibility for risks associated with lake and waterfront activities.
Safety & Security
• Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.
• Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or safety equipment.
• Please report any damage, accidents, or maintenance concerns promptly so we can address them quickly.
Important Notice
This is a family-oriented lake community. Exterior security cameras and noise monitoring devices are in use to help protect the property and ensure compliance with house rules.
Violations of these rules—including smoking, parties, excessive noise, unauthorized guests, unauthorized pets, or other serious policy breaches—may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund, additional charges, and removal from the property.
Liability Waiver
Guests acknowledge that use of the home, dock, boathouse, waterfront, outdoor areas, and amenities is at their own risk. The property owners assume no liability for accidents, injuries, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings that occur during a guest’s stay. By booking this property, guests accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all members of their party.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these house rules.
