"This was a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. The property is in the main central location close to Liroux port and above the central square. Everything in the unit was new and it was so clean and elegant. The shower was perfect and the layout of the unit was great. I wish we had more time spent in Liroux would definitely return to this location. I had a question to the host and got an immediate response. My son and I enjoyed staying here"

"The apartment is in a very central position in Lixouri. Ideal for the square, the ferry and all that Lixouri has to offer. The apartment was clean when we arrived, was cleaned once during our stay - perfect for us. It is well refurbished and had all the amenities we needed and as described. We had good sleeps (apart from the church bells on Sunday morning but this is to be expected in any Greek town). Good bed and pillows. Excellent blinds to keep it dark. Fabulous hotel with a beautiful location and amazing staff. we stayed for 10 nights in a sea view room, gorgeous view and great to sit on the balcony in the morning and evening , we had amazing breakfast every morning with wonderful, helpful staff, after 2 days they knew our coffee order without asking. All of the staff were lovely and so helpful. The reception staff , Angelika, Cassandra and Georgia were second to none. very informative and we were always greeted with a smile. There needs to be a special mention to Georgia. We discussed our day with her every evening, she gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We have left making a new friend in Kefalonia. She made everyone feel noticed. Thank you Grand Hotel , we will be back for sure ."

"Situated near the airport, the hotel/resort is easy to get to. The hotel will arrange airport transport for a small fee. It is well staffed and exceptionally clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is on the ocean with access to a nice nearby beach. Several economical restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walk. Rental cars are available at the property (requiring international driving license) and are a must for seeing the area and the island. There are no shuttles to nearby towns or other parts of the island, so the rental car is the way to go. The restaurant food is very good, as is the free breakfast. The only "down side" would be the for the breakfast buffet where food was not replaced for long periods, example fried eggs and other items went empty for a while before they were refreshed. Other than that the place is really nice."

"We had a lovely stay at Liberatos Village. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette, which was a great choice. It seemed reasonably new compared with other parts of the hotel and was very clean and comfortable, with one of the best showers we've ever had at any Greek accommodation! The hotel is sprawled across a large area, and our room was quite a walk from the reception and pool area, but we appreciated the privacy this afforded. Lassi is a small but very pleasant resort, with many nice tavernas and easy transport links to nearby Argostoli. Please note that it is very hilly! We had not fully appreciated how steep a hill the hotel was on, which made the walk down to the main street and back up again each time rather daunting. Many people took a taxi up the hill, which cost EUR 8 each time, but we preferred to brave the walk - we certainly came home fitter than when we arrived! We were rewarded at the top by the stunning views. We must also thank Liberatos Village for putting us up for an extra night after our 8.30pm flight home was grounded at the last minute. They were very kind and accommodating during these difficult circumstances and we really appreciated it."
