This cabin was a wonderful place to spend time with family. We swam and hung out on the dock each day. There were many games available to play each evening. Plus you can get a free workout going up and down the stairs to the lake. The cabin was very clean with lots of small touches like the box of tissues around the house and providing enough toilet paper to last the entire week.

Nice spot on Norris Lake!

Perfect location on Norris with lovely view and steps down to the lake. House was very nice and had everything you needed. Host was very responsive with any questions. Loved that there was a pontoon available to rent. We had a great stay!

Family getaway

We enjoyed staying here for a little getaway for a couple days after getting married. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, playing games and even rented kayaks at nearby marina and went out on the lake! Carmen was great at getting back quickly with any questions I had!

Perfect Getaway

This is a cute little house near Flat Hollow Marina. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Carmen was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming and relaxing. Renting the boat through Carmen was a breeze and very convenient.

Awesome Lake Front Property

The property is an older A-frame home. There are 3 levels. Kitchen has been completely remodeled. It is on the lake, has a private dock and a very nice pontoon boat that can be rented.

Perfect week

House was super clean and as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were really comfortable. We rented the owners boat as well which was a very nice pontoon boat - it was nicer than I expected it to be and I would recommend doing that if you don’t have your own. The area was quiet and we loved having our own dock. Someone below mentions it needed replacing - but I think that has been done because it was also very nice. They had tons of games. It was really a great rental!!

A-Frame near flat hollow marina

We spent 6 days 5 nights over a long Memorial Day weekend. 3 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. We brought a boat and was able to launch it at Flat Hollow, Marina, and store the boat trailer at the marina as well. It was nice having the dock right in front of the house. We had to split up so that when we brought the boat over, we knew which house to go to. One of our friends stood on the dock while another friend drove the boat over. We cooked all our meals at the house and used a brand new grill that was provided. There was an ice machine in the pantry that came in handy. We brought all our own food including paper towels, cutlery, and paper plates. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans. I recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. if you’re going to be there more than a couple days. Because this is an A-frame, the steps up to the master bedroom and downstairs were pretty steep. There is no live TV, but there is Wi-Fi so bring your own personal streaming stick to watch movies. They had plenty of games to choose from for game night. There is no place to have a campfire. There was a washer and dryer available as well in the half bathroom downstairs.

This property was perfect for us and our 2 young children. Everything was clean, organized, easy to find, and the host was very responsive to my questions. If you bring groceries there is everything you need to prepare meals on site, once we arrived we never left again except on the boat. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. While on our way to check in for our stay I received a message from the host letting me know the cleaning crew found both living room recliners damaged by the previous guests. I received pictures of the damage along with an apology for the inconvenience and was asked when it was convenient for the chairs to be replaced once new ones arrived. Everything was switched out conveniently while we were out on the boat 2 days later and my kids were thrilled to try the new chairs when we got back. This property had the lake house/cabin feeling we wanted while being very comfortable and the lake views are every bit as nice as they look in pictures if not nicer. It was also very important to us to have a private boat dock since we brought our boat. We used the boat trailer parking lot operated by the marina which is conveniently located between the marina and the property. Do not try to bring your boat trailer to the property, you will not make it. The road is too narrow and dead ends so it is a must to use the marina parking lot. We had a great stay and would absolutely book this property again!

The house was so cute and very clean. It has a wonderful view and very private as it’s towards the end of a dead end road. They had lots of cooking supplies already there as well as a ton of board games and dvds for the kids. My only complaint was the down stairs beds were uncomfortable for me and the cleaning crew didn’t leave enough trash bags for a 6 day stay. We enjoyed our stay ….when it wasn’t raining. Overall a good get away!

We were so pleased with our stay! The location was excellent, and the view was so peaceful and perfect. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and enjoyed supper on the deck overlooking the lake. The best part was having access to a boat rental right on property. We were able to rent a boat without trailering or hauling, and without driving anywhere! This property was conveniently located close to the marina, which made refueling easy. Will definately stay here again, and may take the kids next time!

Perfect getaway. Peaceful and away from the bigger more populated areas but still close to get to the marina. Tim and Carmen were excellent hosts with great tips and instructions. They were easy to get ahold of for communications and was very quick to respond. The house offered a beautiful view and access to the lake. Kitchen space and living areas offered all the amenities needed for a family. The rooms were comfortable and the perfect amount of space for each of us.We had an amazing vacation and hated to leave. Definitely plan on making this a yearly trip if possible and booking with them again.

The best 40th birthday

We stayed 3 nights 4 days in this amazing gem. We had a great time on the lake for 2 days with their boat rental. We were close to the marina and the area was so peacful. We WILL be back again.

We booked this property for 4th of July weekend and had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, great hot water and water pressure and we had everything that we needed in the home. Originally I was under the impression there was only 1 bathroom in the home so we were pleased to find an additional half bath downstairs. The host was fantastic at communicating, and the whole stay was seamless. This was our first time at Norris Lake. Renting a boat directly through the host made enjoying the lake convenient and it was nice that there was a marina a couple minutes away. Things to note for future guest: the drive to the house from the main roads is narrow and windy. The steps down to the dock are steep, and there’s some rocks you need to walk over to get to it (you can see in the photos) so if you have any mobility issues just be aware. The deck and house are so charming, but could use some general updates. Overall though it was a great place to stay for a long weekend, location was perfect and the house was reasonably priced!

Great time

This was mine and my husband's third stay. We always have a great time. The property is close to the marina, it's super convenient to great food and drinks. The cabin is cozy, has great decks to sit out on and relax, and super comfy recliners in the living room. Can't wait to come back!
