Beautiful, welcoming, family run hotel. With a warm welcome and good food. The only drawback was the one occasion their restaurant was closed I found very little Ele’s available in the village for dinner. But I would go back in a flash.

Das Personal ist super freundlich. Traditionelles familiengeführtes Hotel mit viel Charme. Ich selbst war geschäftlich hier, aber es ist super geeignet für Familien oder auch Familientreffen. Warum? Neben den Zimmern gibt es auf der gleichen Etage auch eine Saune und einen super gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum, wo man sich unterhalten, gemeinsam spielen (alles vorrätig: Schach, Spielkarten etc. ...) oder einfach gemütlich den Tag mit einem Gespräch und einem guten Wein ausklingen lassen kann. Es fehlt eigentlich nur noch ein Kamin mit offenem Feuer (oder habe ich den übersehen ?) Ich komme gerne wieder. Es gibt absolut nichts zu beanstanden!

The hotel is in a very remote area and once checked in, it was hard to get around. The owners were friendly but cost of food was expensive. If anyone is looking to do the night life, this hotel is not the place. The building is old but renovated.

Lovely little hotel

I stayed here by mistake. The app said it was close to Freidrichhafen, which it is as the crow flies. But Lake Konstanz is in the way. So it was actually a long drive, but beautiful.The hotel is small but comfortable, with nice people running it. It was fine for a two night stay and I can well imagine it as a great base for summer walkers etc. And the drive down to St Gallen is just breathtaking - real heidi Country. And there is a fabulous Spar across the road. Highly recommended.

Accueil très charmant. Mais village loin de tout mais au bord d'une route bruyante. Dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel hors de prix. Pas de prise USB pour recharger portable dans les chambres.

Excellent hotel in Speicher

Excellent family run hotel. Good restaurant, friendly and good size room. Ask for room facing the back if sensitive to traffic noise and train. Very close to train station which has a good cafe. Train takes 15 to 20 minutes to St Gallen city. Great views of lake from Speicher which is elevated.
