Grandmothers Getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy trip to Fall Creek Falls. Great property for walking. Kitchen well stocked. TV in downstairs bedroom did not work- we think remote may need batteries. Also, MANY dead flies around the windowsills. Overall, a wonderful time.

Great Family Weekend
We had a great weekend with our family. The home was perfect and had enough room for all of us. Kitchen stocked with whatever tools or appliances you needed. The kids played ping pong and tic-tac-toe in the garage. Enjoyed the fire pit and the rockers on the front porch. Home needs a little TLC. There is a nail in the middle of the 5th stair from the bottom that’s sticking up. The ac vents in the downstair’s bathrooms need to be cleaned (black mold). Vacuuming needs to be done under the beds as there was a few pieces of trash and lots of dust. All in all - perfect location as we visited FCF and had a wonderful time.

Not as great as it looks...
Pros: The house overall has been smartly renovated, definitely the farmhouse vibe. The decor and furniture are great. It’s only an 18 minute drive to Fall Creek Falls. We enjoyed the fire pit and swings out back. Cons: The WiFi does not work. If you're planning on going to Fall Creek Falls to hike all day and then want to come back and let your kids stream a movie on Disney + or watch Thursday Night Football on Amazon, this is NOT the place for you. (The property manager did say she called the internet company and they said it was working “fine” on their end. But I have pictures and videos that prove otherwise). I think the WiFi at Fall Creek Falls is better than what's at this house! The bedding in all bedrooms is lacking; the sheets are thin and there is only a single worn duvet insert as your bedding. There was one throw blanket on the master bed, but no others throughout the house. There is a crack/hole in the ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms likely from water damage to the roof. The one bench at the dining room table needs to be repaired. The top of the bench is coming apart from the base and rocks back & forth with an annoying squeak when you sit at it. The pots and pans have seen better days and don't have matching lids. The flower beds need attention. There were dead bugs on the carpets in the upstairs bedrooms. This house simply needs a deep clean, and some attention to the extra details that make a VRBO truly a 5 star place to stay.

The internet is working fine. We are in a rural area, so streaming many devices at one time will slow it down. The internet company advised it was overloaded. We have guests work from this location often and have never had an issue. As for bedding, our mattresses have mattress protectors, mattress pads, fitted and flat sheet and lastly a comforter. There are several blankets in the large closet upstairs. Thank you for letting me know about the maintenance issues and I will get those addressed immediately. As readers can see our reviews are exceptional and we strive to keep our property great shape and our guests happy. Have a great day and please come again to The Farmhouse.

The house was amazingly beautiful and peaceful. The shower was exhilarating! It was the best 8 days we have had in a very long time. The landscape was beautiful as well. We had the most relaxing time ever! We didn't want to leave. It was well worth the cost. Falls Creek Fall was beautiful! We had so much fun hiking and exploring everything. Can't wait to go back. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to have peace and tranquility to go!!

Cozy and so comfortable. The smell of fresh growing Lavender and a cool rainy day on the front porch far away from all the noise in our lives was the best medicine we could ask for.

Hi Marisela, Thank you for your review. I will address the mowing with our maintenance and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do not advertise that pool as part of our rental as that is privately owned. The ponds are available for all of our guests to use. We are a gated community so our residents do ask from time to time if you are guests. We do hope to see you again.

Nice rental as described. Our reserved cabin at Fall Creek Falls was cancelled due to recent flooding in the area. This was exactly what we needed especially on a short notice. Will return in the future.

Wonderful !
Well kept and nicely decorated home. Granddaughters loved the room with two beds. Beautiful property with front porch facing lavender fields. Loved the swings and fire pit area. There is a coffee pot that includes a kurig pod option. We were a little confused about the pool and hot tub. We loved the horses and fishing at the pond. Great place close to Falls creek to unwind and relax.

Perfect Getaway
The house is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. Sitting on the front porch looking at a lavender field has to be close to what Heaven must be like. The house was a perfect place for our family including our adult children. There are activities nearby for the folks who wanted to be active and many places to relax inside and outside at the house.

Relaxing & Peaceful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farm house. It was very clean & accommodating in a very peaceful setting. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch looking out over the field watching the sunrise & the great fire pit area with the swings to relax around the fire at night. Bedrooms & living areas were very cozy & comfortable with plenty of room to relax & enjoy our stay. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to Fall Creek Falls which is great for hiking & enjoying the outdoors. I highly recommend this place.

Breath of fresh air!
We really enjoyed another stay at the farmhouse. This year we brought kites along and the kids had a blast in the front yard with them. We also appreciate our morning walk in the fresh air!

Enjoyable!
Enjoyed sitting outside, around fire pit, having breakfast outside. Carried Grandson fishing and he caught two fish! Two minor problems…were not able to figure out downstairs T. V. and upstairs shower needs repair ! Could not turn the shower on and off ! Had to leave it in the “On” position!

Beautiful Escape!
We had a perfect get away with our family and in laws. The house was very spacious and well equipped for cooking. Our boys loved swimming in the pool and hot tub daily. My husband also enjoyed fishing from the ponds during the evening. Personally my favorite part about the house was watching the hummingbirds from the front porch. The farmhouse was the best place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The hosts were quick to respond and help with any questions we had and were VERY accommodating . Would definitely stay again!

What an amazing experience!
This was one of the most beautiful properties ever! Plenty of space. There was 8 of us. Very close to Fall creek falls and activities. However you could just stay on the property and enjoy the peaceful serine of the land and amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. The only regret we have was not booking it longer than we did. We were definitely not ready to leave! Can’t wait to book this again!

The area is beautiful and peaceful. The house was very accommodating and cute! At first, it was pretty hot and stuffy in the house, but by bedtime it has thankfully cooled off nicely. The ponds were fun for fishing. Would love to come back!

Great time at the Farmhouse!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was convenient to local outdoor amenities, and the house was well appointed. Walking around the neighborhood with the horse pasture and the ponds (where we caught a few fish) were nice additional activities. My only minor criticism is that the house could use more curtains in the living areas downstairs.....it's set up like the centerpiece in that part of the neighborhood, close to the barn (performance stage), and some other houses, so you feel pretty exposed at night without curtains. That being said, we felt safe, and were going to bed early anyway, so not too big of a deal for our group.

Wonderful Spring Break!
We loved the Farmhouse - clean, great layout, comfortable and just beautiful all around. Plenty of room and storage, everything in working order, and great views! We explored nearby Fall Creek Falls, Rock Island, Burgess Falls and the lovely property around the Farmhouse. We had a great time at Calfkiller Brewery in Sparta, so welcoming and informative, and amazing pizza and drinks at Marioochi's in Sparta. One of the best rentals we've stayed at!

Farmhouse fun!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse, we just wish it was longer. Such a beautiful property to arrive at near sunset; my family was so impressed by my selection (the entire trip was full of surprise destinations). We enjoyed the sunrise on the front porch, and after making breakfast in the beautiful kitchen we headed to Cumberland Caverns and then Fall Creek Falls. Nice to come home after a very short drive to the beautifully decorated home and make dinner and relax by the outdoor fire pit after a busy day. The kids really enjoyed making the s’mores welcome gift. We felt very at home here and would definitely recommend.

Peaceful getaway
The farmhouse was a delightful quiet retreat that allowed us to spend time as a family, enjoy meals and good conversation without outside interference. The rooms were nicely and comfortably furnished and perfect for spending time indoors. The wraparound porch and ample outdoor seating allowed us the ability to conduct visits outdoors as easily as in. Close proximity to the park enabled us to drive over for a short hike whenever anyone was inclined without having to make it a full day affair. Definitely will be returning :)

Little Slice of Heaven
We loved our stay at the Farmhouse!! The home was very clean and it was so peaceful. A perfect oasis to get away from it all. They gave us just about all we needed including toiletries and dish soap etc. I will say if you are coming from out of state the drive up is all mountain once you reach 30. We got used to it being there but it was scary that first time lol! Will def stay here again and recommend it for families.

Lovely home in nice area near FCF. This home is completely refurbished. It is just as described and they even had it tastefully decorated for Christmas. We would stay here again, absolutely! Clean, new furniture and linens(white), safe gated neighborhood, peaceful, well styled.

Family Thanksgiving
We booked a three night family Thanksgiving reunion with our three adult children and their partners.. It was a perfect location. The scenery is beautiful. It’s a short drive to Fall CreekFalls . The house was professionally decorated through out in a quaint farm house theme. It slept three couples very Comfortably. Lots of amenities provided for guests comfort!! The kitchen was large with two pantry’s and a large double door refrigerator. It was ideal for meal preps. We were able to cook all our meals easily and enjoy them at the spacious farm table. We didn’t get to use the fire pit due to rain. Instead we enjoyed Christmas movies in the comfortable living room. We enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories. We took family pictures on the spacious front porch. We recommend this lovely home for your perfect family get aways. We would love to do it again one day. You won’t be disappointed!

Lovely Country Setting
The family had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the country setting. The house was a great modern farm house and a pleasure to stay in. My only issue was the kitchen not being stocked with quality pans and utensils. I little hard to cook in but would definitely stay again. Plenty of room for the kids and they loved the outdoor space.

Stayed here for a recent wedding at the nearby park. Was only a few minutes from the park, the house was big, clean and functional. The directions lead us to the maintenance road at first but was easy to figure out. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Cabin - Close to Fall Creek Falls
This property is located in a small group of homes about 15 minutes from Fall Creek Falls. The property has a community pool and one of the property owners has about 5 horses in a pasture. My family (4 adults, 4 kids) all stayed here comfortably. The owner sent the wrong code to get in the front door, but was immediately available to correct the information. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Awesome Place
Everything was perfect. Parking was great. Beds were great. Kitchen was awesome. Probably the best we've ever rented. Was very quiet. Three couples came for the 127 yard sales. Previously we had stayed in 2 different state parks. For some reason no cabins were available a year in advance. We found this place and WOW! it was so much better than state parks. Will definitely be interested in booking again should the need arise.

i won’t repeat what’s already been said, but yes, this is definitely a 5-star property! some specifics: super clean, all white linens, fluffy towels, beautiful view over the grassy field, perfect location with easy park access, and my personal favorite, an amazing rain shower head in the master bath with strong water pressure!! we’re already planning a trip back!

Great Getaway From Virtual Life
The Farmhouse was exactly what my family (Me, wife and 4 kids under 8) needed after a year of screen life. The house was gorgeous and immaculate, the grounds of the property were exactly as advertised. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire on swinging benches every night. My children all caught fish in the ponds. Enjoyed the views waking around the property and the proximity to Falls Creek Falls State Park. Would definitely stay again!

Girls weekend
Our group of 4 had an excellent time soaking in the peace and beauty of this property. The house was beautiful and clean, very tastefully decorated and stocked with the must haves. The fire pit area is perfect! We so enjoyed the gated community and walks to see the horses, as well as the close proximity to the state park. All we could talk about was our return, next time with husbands and kids in tow. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This house amazing. My friends and I stayed here after running a 50k at Fall Creek Falls, and it was the perfect post race retreat. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Charming Country Getaway
