Hotel Texas

"I was booked at another hotel in town but it was more of a motel with outdoor facing rooms. I was thankful to find Hotel Texas with interior hallways. It may not be part of a well known chain but it was just as good as many of those type of hotels. Clean and comfortable. All of the expected amenities in the room. It was over 100 degrees the day of my stay and the air conditioner in my room was able to keep up. I didn’t eat breakfast but I looked and it was as expected - sausage patties, biscuits, and waffles. It looked tasty. The coffee was excellent! I only wish they had half and half at the coffee station. That is my only critique of an otherwise excellent stay."

"We had an amazing stay. I will try to not repeat everything that everyone else has said - this home feels like just that a home. It doesn’t feel like a rental at all. It is extremely well equipped and maintained. Everything feels new and extremely high quality. Corners are not cut here. This extends from the property all the way to the communication from the owner. She is simply outstanding - proactive, accurate and comprehensive. We stay at probably 20 VRBOs a year and this was hands down one of the very best!! You will be thrilled and feel fortunate to stay here. Don’t miss your chance!"

"It was a fantastic weekend at this property. If you are ever in this area stay at Frick’n Ranch. It’s very clean, the beds are so comfy and it’s very very close to Splashway. The Host of the property is so sweet and made sure we were well taken care of."

"We had a wonderful stay at this ranch! It was the perfect place for a quick getaway, peaceful, relaxing, and a nice change of pace. The property was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the quiet country setting and being able to slow down. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and would happily stay again!"

"What an awesome stay!! The amenities were surprisingly high quality for a rental. The cookware was first class and the showering products were top quality including special facial cleanser. I have stayed at VRBOs domestically and internationally and this is the nicest place that felt like home (but with better cookware. : ). I also messed up the calendar when booking and the hosts were very patient with me. We brought a box fan for the loft based on a review but the hosts had already provided that upstairs with one to spare. We were very comfortable. We will return next time we visit Splashway (if available)!"
