"On arrival I couldn’t get in. I had to ask a friendly guy in the street to ring for how. Over the phone the host gave me a code to release the key. In confusion I got in and got the key. The room was ok, clean etc. Come breakfast, it was very basic dry fare except for coffee. I came I went, never saw anyone. Not my worst ever but unusual. "

"Motovun is a tiny village with very few hotels and restaurants. The old.town is pedestrian only so parking is 'down the hill' and the hotel car picks you up. We had a valley view adjacent to communal terrace. Hitel does a great.job ahutting terrace.down at 10 pm for noise control. Super.friendly staff and a.bonus - well.stocker honor bar in lobby w chilled beer, water, local.wines. corkscrew handy, did not need to ask. Even supplied quality glassware! "

"Wir waren nur wenige Tage in der Ferienwohnung, die Lage ist wunderschön und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Man wohnt im gleichen Haus mit den Vermietern, das heißt es kann schon mal jemand über die zur FeWo gehörende Terrasse laufen und man hört Geräusche aus der anderen Wohnung. Wer sich von solchen Kleinigkeiten nicht stören lässt ist wird dort eine tolle Zeit haben. Wir haben vor allem den wunderschönen Ausblick und die Nähe zu Wander- und Radwegen im Naturschutzgebiet sehr genossen!"

"Eine fantastische Unterkunft. Wir haben die Ferienwohnung für unsere Durchreise nach Kroatien gebucht und es war ein großartiger Zwischenstopp. Man hat das Gefühl, man sei in Italien. Zwischen Weinbergen, total idyllisch. Die Gastgeberin ist mega sympathisch. Wir haben zur Begrüßung Wein und Hollundersaft für die Kinder bekommen. "After a mix-up with travel dates (due to booking process, not the property), I was still accommodated at last minute and cannot thank the owner enough for her hospitality. The property was spacious, had a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again next time I'm in Trieste."

"This place was amazing. We were within walking distance of the train station. The apartment and room were beautiful. There was great coffee, lots of snack, water and an amazing breakfast that had something that everyone would enjoy. The place was exactly like the picture. A super sweet woman named Franchesca met us at the apartment to welcome us and let us in. She gave us some info about Nice and the surround area with stores, restaurants, and bars. One note be sure and get a hold of the place...

"Chose Villa Istriana B&B in Umag as a base to explore Istria. This is a charming hotel within easy reach of the Adriatic coastline. Our host Daniela was friendly, professional and informative. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The bathroom and shower spotless with plenty of hot water. Parking just outside our room; private terrace with table & chairs a plus. There is a nice restaurant right next door, but we often ate at Rustico (Istrian specialties) a 10-minute drive. Highly recommend...

So, I started to look for the infamous number 14 in the street (which doesn't seem to exist). After walking around the entire block, I quit and just ask for a random person in the street. "Located in the city centre so easy to walk everywhere. Street parking is difficult. I suggest the garage parking at the Tribunal centre (around 10 minutes walk away at a daily rate of 19e) or the parking on the shore line which is free overnight and around 25 minutes walk). Flat was comfortable especially the bed. Plenty of room. I had no hot water when I arrived so needed to put the boiler on (via a switch next to the lighting). Only limited kitchen equipment but fine for simple meals. Sofa bed...
