This charming cottage home has been affectionately named “The Birdhouse,” and, you guessed it … the theme of the décor throughout is based on our colorful feathered friends!

I have put my heart and soul into making this cottage a lovely place, and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful 5-star reviews.

Awesome house

The house was super cute, clean, and in an excellent neighborhood. All amenities were conveniently available at the house. We would stay at this same house the next time we are in Spokane.

Nice getaway

The property is just as cute in person as it looked in the photos. The neighborhood was fairly quiet too. The house is well set-up. I was in Spokane for business, while my wife came along just for a break. This place worked well for both of us, and we'd use it again. A few hiccups- the printer was out of ink, the barbeque needed cleaning, and we found a few 'deposits' in the yard from prior pet visitors. Nothing earth-shaking though.

Amazing stay!

We had such and amazing stay in the birdhouse! It was very welcoming and everything was cozy and clean. The hosts were prompt with responses to my questions and overall we had the best first visit in Spokane!

Lovely to look at but uncomfortable furniture except for the beds. All removable cushions were faded, old, and very thin, making it uncomfortable to sit. Rockers on the porch were good. Kitchen table was minuscule with flat cushions. The outdoor covered patio furniture was a great selling point but we couldn’t sit but a few minutes as the cushions were old and flat. It was a disappointment overall.

Great cottage in a cute neighborhood

This was a perfect location for our stay in Spokane. The neighborhood was nice and I felt comfortable running every morning. The house was a perfect retreat after a day spent exploring Spokane.

Family Fun

Myself and three of my grown children flew to lovely Spokane to visit my fourth child and her family. It was what I would describe as a PERFECT trip. Everything was fabulous including the perfectly located and wonderfully charming Bird House Cottage that we stayed in. These people know how to accommodate their guest and the house was perfect for our stay.

Short family getaway

We took our family on a short holiday getaway. The location and neighborhood were great, very quiet. The house had anything we needed, and was very clean. We highly recommend this rental.

Ample lot, nicely landscaped with outdoor space. Interior decor clean and small cozy. Floors squeak in living room, but part of the vintage charm…we were there in winter, and stayed warm. Couldn’t necessarily use outdoors, but seemed great…

The Birdhouse was delightful

We really enjoyed staying at the Birdhouse. The location was perfect for proximity to family. Sitting outside was wonderful. Thanks for the snacks, coffee, etc. The host responded immediately to a question. However, it was a bit tight for 6 adults, but since we were family, it wasn't a big deal.

Excellent location for quick access to Manito Park, restaurants and downtown/Gonzaga.

We enjoyed two nights and jam packed days with graduation activities at different venues. Randy was very understanding and accommodating and we loved the birdhouse location and decor. It was very quiet, peaceful and comfortable both inside and out after busy days away. Highly recommend!

Very Cute Home

We had a great stay at the Bird House. When traveling with a 18 month old, cleanliness and safety of a property are at the top of our list, and we were not disappointed! We were a bit concerned to find that the AC for the home was one window unit, but it did a fairly good job for the majority of the house. We enjoyed the shade of the porch and yard and the very comfycomfy chairs all over.

The Birdhouse

This place is great! It was very cozy, clean, and charming. There was a nice message on the chalk board greeting us, a basket of snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more! Walking distance to Republic Pi and Manito Tap House, Thomas Hammer coffee, Starbucks, and more. Nice porch, yard, and sitting area along the side of the house too. Highly recommended.

Visiting from Montana to see My Fair Lady

I have stayed at literally dozens and dozens (I am 75 yrs old) of VRBOs in USA, Europe, Canada and Mexico. Cleanliness is my priority, then location and ambience, and communication with owner. This property knocked it out of the ballpark! I hope to stay again when rain does not prevent me from enjoying the lovely outdoor accommodations. The house is fantastic!

Such an adorable home! The bird theme was so fun! My girlfriends & I had a great time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Chilled water in the fridge and fun snacks on the counter to enjoy. Close to downtown and walking distance to an amazing coffee shop. Definitely coming back!

BRAVO - What a beautiful, sweet, little home!!! We truly appreciate all the time, effort and thoughtfulness that you put into this place. The decor was lovely, especially those adorable pottery owls in the kitchen. I couldn't stop looking @ them and smiling!! The extra amenities you provided were "over-the-top" and made our stay sooooo easy & comfy. One of the most well stocked VRBO's we've ever stayed in!! The heated toilet seat - Oh my, I never knew what I was missing before......

Charming cottage

Adorably decorated small house/cottage in a great neighborhood within 10-min drive of downtown Spokane. It was great for a girlfriend trip (3 of us), it would be perfect for 2 couples who were family or close friends. So clean. Beds/bedding/pillows were super comfy. The bedroom/bathroom situation is a bit odd, just know going in. 2 bedrooms upstairs, the bathroom is just inside bedroom 1 - not a big deal if you are all friends, we just left that bedroom door open and it was a communal bathroom. The 2nd bedroom and separate bathroom are in a basement (this is in the fine print). Not a "lower level" - it is a true basement, with back of the house narrow concrete steps down. They have done a fantastic job making it as cute as can be. But it's still a basement with concrete floors, exposed pipes, etc., if that's something that would bother you. The bedroom has 2 twin beds.
