The history of the hotel made staying here over any of their other properties worth it!! So much to see and tour within the hotel. Having a spa in the hotel is another plus. Both of the restaurants are very good and serve great food.

I have never been disappointed staying here and this time made me love it even more. The staff was so wonderful and friendly, the drinks were great and the food delicious. The beds are so comfortable. I just wish the pillows were a little smaller or if they had a variety of sizes on the bed.

We had the best long weekend at the Historic Davenport Hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The entire hotel is very well maintained, the history is there but proper updates have been made. The espresso bar specifically is beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We made reservations for afternoon tea as a family, it was a great experience. We really enjoyed ourselves and would return again.

The downtown area has a homeless problem and as a result some areas downtown are quite dirty and feel unsafe. This hotel is a gem in the area but I didn't feel like exploring what downtown had to offer as a result of the environment. Very clean and well appointed rooms. I love the history to the hotel and makes we wish for better times.

Our room was spacious and thoughtfully arranged. We like the electric outlets that were convenient for charging devices. The fitness center and swimming pool were nice amenities. In addition, the in-building restaurant and the location downtown were excellent!

The staff— especially the Check in staff were excellent— Also the Bellman went out of his way to make us feel comfortable in our room —Also high compliments to the Valet Parking Staff — we’re very courteous and helpful. The only negative was the shower was not cllean —there was a clump of hair near the drain . Also feel the “added taxes” especially for the Valet Parking were quite high.. We will return— and the Remodel is lovely.

Beautiful historic hotel. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the historical walking tour and close proximity to Spokane Falls. One star was taken off from the whole experience due to the following: Both queen beds had wet sheets and partial wet comforters from sheets not properly dried. Housekeeping came to rectify the problem after being notified. Also, bathroom had prior guests eye contacts stuck to countertop. Makes you question the cleanliness of the room and after a long day of travel, the last thing a guest wants is to manage a hotel room for its basic purpose.

Beautiful property. Room was clean and large. Very well appointed. Loved that I could have my dog with me. There was an unexplained fee called an amenities destination fee $20, daily. We were given $10 credit for food a day for only 1 person, not both of us. The $10 had to be used each day and couldn’t be accumulated. But it was nice to have money toward getting breakfast there. The waitress was so sweet at breakfast and remembered my room number the second day. Spokane is a nice city and it was clean and we felt safe. I would definitely recommend The Davenport because of its spectacular beauty.

Room was spacious and comfortable, reception staff was helpful at all hours. Breakfast was good, liked the free & easy wifi, self parking at $28/night was more expensive than I expected. Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms and enjoyed the separate tub & shower of the room type I had. Bathroom had a small amount of visible debris on the toilet; otherwise the room felt clean.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff seemed a little weirded out that two guys would be checking in together (especially the valets). I always stay here when I visit Spokane and this stay was almost perfect.
