Family Cabin near many larger lakes, UTV trails, hiking, kayaking Namakogen

Newer lake home with all the amenities of home (including AC) on a small, quiet, and private lake which is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding (we have three of each, you can use)! There are a few other cabins on the lake and there is no public access.

Large yard, excellent for bocce ball and corn hole (provided) and other games you choose to bring. We also have a closet full of family board games.

There are many other larger lakes in close proximity for those who like to hop around and fish.

The water is very clean and due to weeds around dock we generally take the kayaks, paddle boards and floaties and go out further to swim. Floaties are excellent on our lake because it is quiet and not dangerous of speeding boats and jets skis are not allowed on our smaller lake.

The cabin is close to many bars and restaurants. There is a General store and Dollar Store 1 mile away with all the necessities including food, liquor, gas, bait and tackle.

We are minutes away from Voyager Village Golf Course where they also have amenities such as Tennis, Soccer Golf, Indoor heated pool, and bar/restaurant.

For the hikers and bikers, there are many trails to choose from with the closest at Big Bear Lake Nature trails and Wild Cat Mountain Trails. These trails are also used for cross-country skiing in the winter months.

Hundreds of miles of ATV/UTV riding during the Summer months and Snowmobile trails during the winter months. Also, nearby ATV/UTV/Snowmobile rentals.

Close to rentals for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing the beautiful and scenic Namekagon River.

1000s of acres of public hunting land

Our property does have security cameras outside in the front and back yard.

Behr Lake adventure
A very nice cabin. Well built and laid out nicely for guests. Such a nice deck out back. Enjoyed our stay. It is close to nearby restaurants and stores. Lake is very weedy so no swimming. Some fish seen but not caught. A fun time.

Family vacation
The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family, each with their own room. The location was situated on a smaller lake and while we didn't see an area to drop our boat in, we were able to utilize the furnished kayaks and paddleboards. We also enjoyed the large fire pit and deck. Thanks again.

Summer stay
Fantastic cabin in a very convenient location (short drive to market store and other activities). Yard and firepit area are extremely private. We didnt have to put bug spray on all day/night, extremely suprising. The paddle boards and kayaks were perfect for the lake, the far side of the lake was also great for swimming. We didnt have any luck fishing or see any fish in the lake, but it was perfect for kayaking/paddling/etc. We didnt see anyone else on it the entire trip. All in all a perfect secluded northwoods escape
