My family enjoyed blueberry picking, foraging for mushrooms, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, swimming, incredible sunsets, campfires, listening to the loons and just being together in nature. Our two weeks spent at the cabin were incredible. Barbara (the owner) and Mark (the caretaker) were very attentive to all our questions. We look forward to coming back!!"

There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use."

"Great time ice fishing. We were 5 guys and fit fine at the rental. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Access to river during the winter with a side by side we had to go to different entry point but it wasn’t far. Owner was next door so any questions were addressed immediately. Would recommend."

"This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!"

"The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). The kayaks and canoes were great, and the fire pit was the highlight at the end of virtually every day—a mere 20-feet from water’s edge. A wonderful spot, with incredibly responsive hosts"
