"My son and I stayed here for the Overland Gravel race and trail run. Everything about the space was pretty much as expected. We made dinner on the grill and sat outside between races and had a great salmon and grilled peppers dinner. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was basically equipped and had everything we needed. Best thing about the place for us though was, undoubtedly, the goats. We spent serious time just hanging out with the four of them and rubbing their heads. Such a pleasant distraction.This area is quite beautiful. Had an awesome post dinner walk down the street. The Xanadu farm made me appreciate some of the simpler things in life."

"The historic property was beautifully landscaped and maintained from the front lawn and parking to the features in the back yard, including short shaded woodland trails. The interior of the historic home was lovely, clean, and welcoming with ample seating and window views, tea, coffee, etc., and snacks. The most comforting aspect of our stay was the hostess, sharing the history of the property and former owners, and offering a tour. The hostess and staff were sincere, kind and so helpful! I intend to stay at this place again!"

"House in the midst of having some upgrades done. This did not impede our stay. House is in a nice quiet area. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked but a simple coffee maker would be nice for those that aren't into cappuccino. I saw nice nightstands in the king bed room that have built in chargers but they were not hooked up. I'm assuming that is still in the works as part of the home improvements. Living room was nicely decorated with a comfortable couch."

"Amazing place! New, clean, spacious, well equipped (we even found pancake mix), and with one of the best views you'll ever see. We had 2 families, total 8 people, staying comfortably through a great ski weekend. Highly recommended!"
