"Everything we could’ve asked for or expected. The home felt new in every way and the amenities gave it a luxurious feel. There was a rocky beach a few hundred feet down a path which was great for exploring and watching the seals and we even found a section suitable for swimming with our 4 year old. The view from the cottage of tall spruce trees and the open Atlantic Ocean was made even better by floor to cathedral ceiling windows and a large wraparound deck with Adirondack chairs. Perfect for enjoying the complimentary morning coffee with a view!Well-appointed bathrooms, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, and a kitchen nicer than what we have at home, made our stay that much better. The cherry on top was how kind and responsive our host was when we had questions before or during our stay. Two incredible beaches are within 25 minutes and two more are within 45 minutes. Groceries are only 14 mins away along with a couple of good restaurants. We cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend this to cottage on the ocean to anyone!"
"The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again."

"What struck us most about the place was how unique and interesting the place was, both outside and inside. Special little touches around the place, nooks and crannies and places to explore that left us feeling like we had a lovely little retreat. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great too :)"
"house was beautiful and well equipped. There is still some finish to be completed inside but minor. Fantastic ocean view that never gets old. Owner Ryan was very easy to communicate with throughout the process. Hot tub was excellent as well. He was still waiting for a part for the sauna while we were there so didn’t get to try that. Overall we were happy with our Vrbo."
