"Booked a standard double a couple of months before our stay. Couldn't book a parking space in advance as all taken. Only a small car park at the front. We used JustPark spaces on Asda carpark nearby & had no issues. Had a lovely room with alot of space for luggage to be left out. Room also included a wardrobe, 2 large mirrors (1 full length), plenty of drawers in desk, chair, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/milk sachets etc, kettle, lamp, TV, portable fan, opening window, extra pillows if needed, comfy bed, clean bedding & towels which are changed regularly, decent bathroom, toiletries, shower mat, towel rail, hooks, shower shelves. Some marks on the carpet & creaky floor in some spots. Our room was on the side & we could still see & hear the sea which was a plus. Some peeling paint & a loose drainpipe outside our window, but facing the sea & weather it's to be expected. No noise from the bar area or outside. We didn't include the breakfast in our booking & didn't eat at the restaurant but it was always busy. Good drinks selection & amazing outside terrace overlooking Great Western Beach with amazing views all around. Friendly staff & housekeeping team were very good and efficient. Can store your luggage in reception if you arrive early. Reception has info & pics about the history of the hotel, a phone charging station & plenty of leaflets regarding things to do in the area. Nice location only a short walk to main streets & convenience stores nearby. Would definitely stay again."

Greenbank Hotel

Greenbank Hotel

8/10 Good
"Room was excellent. Check in at reception was great. Very welcoming and helpful reception team . Unfortunately the pub was fully booked up for the food reservations and didn’t quite fancy the restaurant menu after a 7 hour drive. Only downside to stay was we decided to have a drink in the hotel bar/ cocktail lounge whilst we discussed further supper options. My Partner approached bar which was empty to order but was told that we would be served at our table. Over the next 10-15 minutes we waited for somebody to take order but no one approached us despite there being at least 4 staff members going in and out with drinks. Plus the Woman behind bar who I presumed was the supervisor/ manager as she did not doing any serving of drinks during the time we waited. Anyway we left and found suitable supper and drinks elsewhere. On the whole we would still use the Greenbank again when in Falmouth. To be honest there is not really a lot of great hotel choices here. But the rooms here and the hotel are of a good standard. The breakfast experience the next morning was wonderful, good food, smiling happy staff and a great seafront location."
