"This was the cutest little railroad scale cabin. Plenty of firewood for fire and a beautiful fire pit. The property is clean and landscape beautifully. The hosts were so accommodating and kind I couldn’t ask for a better host. Wi-Fi worked wonderfully. Plenty of clean towels and dishes not to mention all of the utensils and a toaster oven microwave and coffee maker to boot. TV has streaming service which was great after a long hard hike. Can’t think of one thing they missed. We’ll definitely stay again if we get this way again."

"Fabulous house for a family reunion. Super clean and spacious. Bedrooms are on 2nd & 3rd floors, which would be difficult for elderly that have challenge with steps. Kitchen work space small but really well stocked. We had one family in charge of cooking each night, which worked well. Huge porch with a lovely view of yard and peek of the lake. Awesome and plenty of seating to eat dinner every night out on the porch with 18 of us. Large family room provided our small children space to play and simultaneously space for adults to visit. Several fans provided, but we brought extra small window fans which were also used. Just a 10-15 minute walk to Eagles Mere beach which is fantastic. So much fun using the kayaks, paddel boards, and peddle boats."

"Surprisingly good hotel, we would stay there again. But here are a few suggestions to improve: The emails they send in the days preceding the reservation are misleading. They suggest eating at their own 220House Restaurant, but it is permanently closed, so that was not an option. Also, on arriving, there was nobody at the desk There were two phone numbers taped to the door. One dialed to a NY #, the second dialed to a Florida #. Both were were non-operational phone numbers. The phone # in the email was also invalid. We almost panicked, thinking that we arrived at a ghost hotel that was shut down. There was QR code taped over the button on the intercom and we didn't see the button at first, but then hit that and someone answered. All's well that ends well, but management might want to rethink how present contact options for arrivals. The other problems: 1 roll of toilet paper, and I'm sure we could have just called and asked for more, but the path of least resistance was just walking to Family Dollar next door and buying a roll. Also, hallway lights would have been nice. Our room was more of a suite with a hallway to the bathroom and entry, and it it was impossible to see anything. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker were in this dark hallway. The room was 89 degrees when we arrived, but it was a heatwave, so I won't hold this against the hotel. But it did take about 3 hours to lower the temps to sleeping tolerance."

"We stay in a lot of cabins with our 3 dogs and this was the cleanest inside and out that we have come across. The outside was very well maintained and we all enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would definitely return again."
