Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When entering the house, there was a cherry Pepsi can, a jacket, a toothbrush and toothpaste . For a second we thought we were in the wrong cabin. After cleaning things up we had a great time and appreciated the gas fireplace very much.

The entrance railing is loose and the grade to the steps need some improvement. Handicap rails in the bathrooms would be a welcome improvement too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay in Pinehaven, and definitely the most disappointing. The first day I had to rewash literally every pot,pan, bowl, plate and silverware. It looked as though the previous renters put everything away without even attempting to wash it. As we turned in for the night, I folded down the sheets only to see a huge stain. I am sure the bedding was clean but for the money we pay stain free sheets would have been nice! On day three, we took the rented pontoon out only to return to no boat slips open, not even one. I called the management company and left a message and still have not received a call back. Friends of ours own a cabin at the resort had the same problem, he also called and did not receive a call back. We absolutely love spending a week each summer and winter here and most likely will in the future, but this was for sure the most "problematic" stay.Smaller issues: In addition to what I previously mentioned, the vent fan in the master bedroom did not work, the kitchen sink dripped (which we reported approximately two years ago).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have used Hiller Vacations for the last 5 years for our yearly Labor Day trip. This year we waited later to book due to COVID. Typically we like secluded single family homes, but so late there wasn't many options. For being in a resort, the house was very nice, clean and plenty of space. Was pretty packed, and parking was very limited. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. One suggestion would be to actually have firepits for each cabin. Listing says there is a firepit, but in actuality, the firepits are community ones and it is 1st come 1st serve. Had disappointed kids that weren't able to have a fire or smores until the final night we were there.

Good Time in St Germain

Cabin was clean, modern and well stocked. The location was ideal for us, we were able to walk to bars and restaurants. Also bike trail was right there. Weather could have been better, but we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: Starting with ease of booking, responsiveness of staff to questions, easily navigated app with all important details to friendly check-in, clean and spacious cabin (house really), super convenient location, outdoor grill, and close by restaurant/bar (like 100 yards) my Dad, Brother, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Elbert's and highly recommend. Even our add on boat rental was flawless... parked at the dock when we arrived, clean and ready to roll, and worked perfectly throughout our stay. The walk from our cabin and down a set of steps to the docks was also super convenient and the dock area includes a nice sand beach, multiple sitting areas, and swimming area. Everything was in GREAT shape and we lacked for nothing, making this fishing vacation relaxing and zero hassle, which is just what we hoped for.

It is air conditioned which can be a big plus on warm summer days and nights. It is close to tavern and restaurant. The friends and families who stay at Elbert' are really one happy fun crowd. We love it here. Have spent 14 summers here. Need we say more!
