Perfect Getaway spot!

We loved this place! Exactly as depicted and described, we had plenty of space, amazing sunsets and the pool for cooling off. The host made check in easy and answered many questions for us. We loved it!

Excellent location with an amazing view

This property was just perfect! Location was so convenient to Cruz Bay, but also so easy to get to Coral Bay. View from the pool and the balcony were priceless. House was well stocked, clean, and exactly as advertised! Our family had the BEST time and hopes to return to St. John and this property again soon!

Beginning of 10 trip relax mode

We loved our stay. Three nights to start our 10 days of vacation. Wonderful view from deck and pool. Great amenities, beach chairs, umbrella, towels. Great location to Cruz Bay. Will definitely stay again. Thanks James for your hospitality.

Nice

We had a great stay at this villa. We had fun with the new friends and neighbors at the pool. Property Manager was very communicative and brought us a new propane tank when we needed to grill quickly!

Amazing place with excellent location

The stay was amazing! James was great and responsive and do what expected and beyond. He even facilitate us with a pressure washing machine to clean the mud in our Jeeps! Great view and everything you need to take your dream vacation! Highly recommended!

Great stay!

The property was perfect my husband and I and our children. The deck was wonderful for eating dinner together and enjoying the beautiful view. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and coolers that were available as we spend many days at the beach. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub. James was super helpful and even accommodated early check in for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Would stay again

Beautiful villa, perfect for a family of four. We utilized taxi service as our transportation as it is not a walkable area. Nonetheless we made friends with some of the drivers who we contacted directly for pick up. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, clean throughout, the pool was a nice touch after a day at the beach. We enjoyed a catamaran tour, private jeep island tour, hiking, and visited several beach. Highly recommend!!

From Inquiry to booking, to check in was seamless. James was absolutely amazing! Came to meet us from the ferry to escort us to the villa. Breath taking views. So quiet and Serene. More that enough space for our family. We will definitely book again. Thank you James

The location of the house is fantastic. Communication with owner was on point. The house needs a deep, deep cleaning. Top to bottom, inside and out. The pool needs help as well. The pictures in listing are dated and do not give a true representation of the facilities.

Did not disappoint

The view from our balcony was stunning. The apartment was exactly what we needed for our first visit to the island. James was very communicative and available to answer questions without hesitation. The apartment was clean and well maintained. I've Already recommended this apartment to multiple people that are planning their own trip to the island. Thank you for opening your space to us. We really enjoyed our time at this house. The owner was very nice and met us at the ferry to allow us to follow him to the home. Driving on St John can be challenging on your first trip so this was appreciated! The roads are narrow and steep and they drive on the left. After a day or so, I was getting the hang of it. It was a bit intimidating on day 1. The drive from the house to Cruz Bay was an easy 10 minutes, once I became used to driving. The house was comfortable and had a great view of the water. I would definitely stay there again.

Great St John Villa

My husband, me, , brother, and sister-in-law stayed for 6 nights at this 2 bedroom villa on St John. We rented a jeep and had a marvelous time going to different beaches and restaurants. The villa is very nice - comfortable beds, great kitchen and grill, wonderful deck with a great view, and a nice pool and hot tub. Beach towels, chairs, and coolers are included. James is a wonderful host and everything worked very well. One note - the living room furniture should definitely be replaced- not very comfortable. But otherwise a great experience!

St John was beautiful!!! VRBO was just ok.

Overall, we had a great stay. Pros- Fantastic location Great view Fully stocked kitchen for cooking Plenty of towels for the beach with laundry detergent on site. Good value for money Cons- Didn’t get check in instructions until 6hrs before check-in Furniture and decor outdated Pool area and hot tub needed cleaning Cat on the grounds (outside) but cat spray could be smelled in various areas. Every time my kids went in and out the cat would try and run inside. On a side note, I had an issue I needed addressed after arrival. I reached out to the host via the VRBO messenger app. He was extremely upset I didn’t text him directly and was unprofessional. He proceeded to tell me it was impossible I smelt urine. Twenty years in healthcare and 10 years giving anesthesia, i”m fairly positive how urine smells. I would not stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!!

From meeting us at the ferry to checkout, James could not have been a better host! He answered any questions we had about the island, provided us with beach chairs, umbrella, nice beach blankets/towels, and coolers. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials plus the washer/dryer and detergent was so convenient! TV setup for all the streaming you’d need. The property is amazing!! We stayed in the upper unit. Very easy to get to. None of the steep stairs or steep parking to navigate which was important to us due to a recent back injury. VERY convenient to Cruz Bay, grocery, pharmacy, gas, etc. Being 1st timers location was top priority, but hoping to still feel private, and James’ property was perfect!! I didn’t once see a neighbor. We did see hummingbirds, iguana, lizards, and the house cat - Magpie, who we absolutely adored. I took a walk daily down the road to soak in the foliage and stunning views. I could go on and on!! This property meet every single need we had and more! As first timers it’s location was perfect and super easy to access everything. And when we return to paradise, we all agree it will be to Rendezvous!

Great Location/Reasonable Price

This property was one of few available when I finally decided to move forward with choosing St. John. The owner was on vacation the week we arrived but his friend Scott met us at the dock and led us to the property. This was awesome because the roads and directions for properties on St. John can be very confusing. The condo is clean and the beds were cozy. I booked for a party of 5 but there were only two beds. The convertible bed must have been replaced at some point so this is more of a four-person unit. The deck furniture is very comfortable and the cat "magpie" made several appearances. There were lots of beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, etc. Super handy! The outdoor shower wasn't working to rinse off after hot tub/pool use but we just went inside to shower. Our only issue was the downstairs people. This is a shared unit so three different units share the pool/hot tub area. Our neighbors were fairly quiet but the day we arrived the hot tub was clean, the very next day it was full of sand and other debris. We tried to skim it out but by the third evening, it was too dirty to even get in. Totally not the owner's fault at all but I expected more from our elderly neighbors. There is a hose right next to the pool and hot tub to rinse off your feet before getting in! The location is very close for going to restaurants and stores and shouldn't take you more than 5-10 mins, although finding parking in Cruz Bay may take you a bit longer. Thanks James & Scott

We loved our stay at this property. We were comfortable, it had multiple places for all of us to relax, and the bedding was fantastic. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and there are beautiful flowers on the property. The view was dreamy! I would not hesitate to book again.

View was spectacular, location excellent 10 minutes from town, spacious. Suggest bringing a water filter (Sawyer) for your drinking water. Host was friendly and accommodating. Definitely need a rental car.
