  • This is a beautiful room, located right on Water Street. With easy access to the Pedestrian Mall in the summers, an abundance of restaurants and nightlife within easy walking distance (though not close enough to hear), this is the ideal downtown base for your visit to St. John’s. We also have one of the newest and most exciting restaurants in town on the ground floor - Portage!

This was a absolutely beautiful room. We were very comfortable there and would definitely go back to stay there again. Recommended to our friends as well. Lovely place with a great atmosphere.

Amazing stay

My partner and I had a wonderful time downtown and stayed at this property. The room is PRISTINE with high ceilings and a nice vibe. Check in was perfect and access in and out of the building was very easy. We didn’t have any problems. The heated toilet was my favourite lol. We look forward to staying here again soon and would 1000% recommend JP as a host and his properties :)

We don't travel much, so it was a bit strange not seeing or dealing with a real person at the site. But the entrance code worked well. The room truly had everything one could want - very clean and sleek! The view was also terrific! My question about parking was answered promptly by text.

Exceptional Location for St John’s

The room’s location was central to Downtown St John’s. Everything is walkable from the room. View of port from room was great for watching the harbor traffic.

Good stay, uncomfortable bed.

Good stay, room wasn’t the cleanest, found a used dirty bobby pin and crumbs on the couch and here and there, furniture smelled a little. Bed was pretty uncomfortable for such a nice spot. No sugar or coffee mate in the common areas.
