We circled round the place twice in order to find it. there was no curb appeal. Parking was not easily identified. There is no front office, we came in and had to ask Restaurant staff where the hotel was, we were directed to "small office to the back of pool" In our booking we paid for bed and breakfast however we still had to pay for breakfast! Not ideal!! Room was satisfactory.. Upon entry no welcome drink or cold towel! Not even a bottle of water in fridge in room! A coffee maker present in room but no coffee in sight for making. Hotel can get great reviews if it does the following! 1. Make the check in lively! FIRST IMPRESSION IS A LASTING IMPRESSION! 2. Provide basic amenities in room for check in, example coffee, tea bags, water, sugar. Guests can replenish on their own there after but on the first day if given guests can see a start!

Personally I don't really like Anything And the reason why I say that. Is because I had a problem with checking in and there was a water problem for one day. So you can imagine what I went through could not flush toilets could not take a shower had to board a plane back to New York It's a great deal of disappointment.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. Kindly note our check in time on any given day starts at 3:00 pm as stated on all our advertising/booking platforms. Also bear in mind check out is at 12:00 pm and so rooms will need to be prepared during that time for our next arrivals. Persons arriving before 3:00 pm more specifically early morning flights, will be required to reserve rooms one (1) day ahead to be ready for check in at that time of the morning. We do apologize for the inconvenience of water supply as the area suffered from a burst main and defective pumping station and also a failed emergency back up on site. As this issue was beyond our control, we will definitely be working on eliminating in the future.

Value for money. Very friendly staff. Food in the cafe is good although there was no 10% discount for guests as we had been advised. Needs a little bit of tlc but I would stay again. Good location.

Good location friendly staff centrally accessible to many restaurants and multiple beaches convenience store/grocery market just minutes away nearby surf school two bedroom two bath full kitchen and living room offered comfortable space for family of 4. Would go again! Good WiFi, quiet except one night of Karaoke in the week we were there.

Besides the nice room, like the cable television, the awesome deck outside. Very convenient to walk to the beaches, your employees was professional, very helpful. Walking through the strip was great as well, all and all, I had a great time. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel in December, thank you all for making my first Kadooment experience, a memorable one that i'll cherish forever. Love Barbados, God bless!!!!

High recommend this.
Weather was great - it did not rain the entire week we were there. There is a troupe of Monkeys living in the neighborhood - along Dover rd. Lots of birds. Lovely area, friendly staff.

If you aren't planning to use your room much, this is the perfect place. The room was basic and clean. Nice to have a cafe and bar on site, but the real perk is the proximity to everything in Dover Beach for the price.

Ideal location at quieter end of Gap
We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, which was spacious and included all required facilities. Value for money accommodation located at the quieter end of the Gap, although within walking distance to all restaurants / bars. Good café on site with good breakfast / lunch menu. Free WiFi and free local calls a bonus

Good for me
For the price I paid I consider it to be good value. Air con in the room, very clean everywhere. There was no problem leaving my luggage at reception as I checked out at noon and my flight wasn't until 6pm. Good location, close to the bars and restaurants on the Gap but far enough to be quiet. Only a coffee filter machine in the room, for me a kettle would have been better. Five minute walk to the main road for buses to Bridgetown or the airport and Oistins the other way.

Wonderful location. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. If you like Karaoke make sure you book on a Friday or Sunday! The music was very loud. However, On a positive note there were some incredible singers.

Great staff excellent food enjoyed our stay
Had a great time lovely pool, staff were wonderful and accommodating nice close to the beach great food and excellent party atmosphere. Only concern was the loud music at night and the traffic since it was so close to our room. The rooms were clean , love the little verandas.the pool was wonderful to have since the ocean was too rough to swim. The coffee shop was fantastic for breakfast and lunches each day great location

interesting trip in Barbados south gap
The hotel is in a great location, the front desk workers was nice. They offered a so called upgrade, for me to stay in the room with a kitchen but then said i have to move the last 2 days someone requested that room, I said no problem. They said they just cleaned the new room but sheets had stains, and toilet seat had red stain on it. I cleaned with towel, so i told them to reclean room lady didn't reclean bathroom cause the dirty towel was left on floor. Lady just changed sheets. They do have karaoke on certain nights next to room 1, its very loud the speakers at right by the door, but I dont care loud music doesn't bother me. But it could get real annoying for some people. So when I downgraded to the other room upstairs it was a lil better definitely a firmer bed, cause that bed in room 1 was kinda flimsy. The room walls are no good.

Good choice for cheap weekend getaway
The hotel is on the corner of the beginning (or the end not sure) of the St Lawrence Gap. Its on the quiet side. As others have pointed out, a few nights a week there is karaoke until midnight so it can get a little loud. The coffee bar and breakfast was fantastic and had great service. The lady behind the counted makes great coffee. The only complaint we have is that they only provide 1 tiny bottle of shampoo for the time you stay. My wife was not happy with that since we did not bring out own.. There is a small convenience store where you can buy some if needed right around the corner. All in all a great little place

Great hotel
The hotel is in a very good location close to restaurants and Dover beach. Great nightlife. The room is very spacious and the staff at the hotel are courteous and very friendly. The food at the restaurant was awesome. If you do rent a vehicle parking can be a problem. All in all a great place to stay.

Work & Pleasure & a great parking experience.
We recently stayed at Ocean 15 while in Barbados on a work trip. My team comprised of 6 persons and the two bedroom apartments where perfect. The food and staff were also wonderful, especially the young man who is the night security. He was very helpful when we arrived late at night to get us into the rooms and assist when we left early in the morning. The reception staff were always inquiring how we were doing and if we needed any help. The Cafe staff friendly and the food on point. When researching hotel options, the one negative review was related to not enough parking. Although the parking is limited, I am happy to say that despite driving a large van the was a parking space every time we needed. So parking was great. It was a wonderful place to stay, close to everything, definitely would stay again.

Location good. Have to pay for chairs at the beach which is $5 per person/day. Room was old and a bit stale. Bathroom wasn't too clean but bed area seemed to be. Staff was friendly. Pool small, we only spent maybe 30 min at the pool. Lots of places to eat. Taxis are expensive best to take the white shuttle if you can.

The location of Ocean 15 is fantastic. It is just a short walk from Dover Beach and many restaurants, clubs, and bars. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The hotel and its furniture and amenities are all very old and outdated, which is fine with me. But my guests and I found the rooms to be very dirty and not maintained. Upon arrival, we found a box of condoms in one of the drawers. The air conditioner was leaking onto a desk, and a garbage bin was placed underneath to catch the water. The plug in the kitchen sink was jammed in the drain. Dishes were smudged with fingerprints. One of the showers was not draining properly. One of the comforters had a questionable stain on it. We arrived late at night so we were unable to complain about these thing until the following morning. Admittedly, the staff was very prompt in fixing these problems the next day. They were very polite; however, they were not apologetic or friendly. The entire time we were there, they did not mop our bathroom floors, as we could see the same mud stain on the floor that had been there after we came home from the beach on the second day. In conclusion, I would not recommend this place to a friend.

it was terrible what I saw on expedia and when I got there was two different things I didn't stay a minute I demanded my money back and they still charged me for 2 nights even though I was very disappointed and upset!

The room was somewhat what I expected (photos always look better than reality). My family had plenty of room and the AC units worked GREAT. I was disappointed when I found dirty dishes in the cupboard and the bed linens and towels were worn and in need of replacement. I was VERY disappointed with the staff and found most to be unfriendly. When I asked for something, the staff acted as if they were doing me a favor to provide basic service. When I ordered coffee one morning, the server actually sighed audibly. I guess they were unhappy with the fact that they were actually going to be required to do THEIR JOB.More than half of the staff wouldn't last a month working for a service related hotel in the US. I plan to return to Barbados, but I won't stay at the Ocean 15 Hotel.

#1 being made to pay on check-in, despite choosing to pay on departure. #2 the “compound” being rented out for a private pool party, not being notified in advance and having to show my hotel key to gain access into the property. #3 Being gawked at by several members of male staff. When I left because I felt uncomfortable, one of the men said “they were waiting for me to go in the pool”, no other guests were by the pool #4 Being ignored by the waitress in the restaurant, yet watching her pander to a group of guys who came in after me #5 Housekeeping providing a basic ‘surface clean’ leaving a dirty cup and glass #6 No assistance offered on departure, having to make multiple trips to vacate the room. #7 General rudeness of staff, only two members were pleasant.

Affordable with great value
Very clean, friendly staff and great food. Don't forget the steady sounds of great island music. The beach is within walking distance. if you are looking for great value, OCEAN 15 is definitely the place to go

very modern hotel and comfortable room. the hotel food was good and staff very friendly. however the cleanliness needs work. they need to move the bed and furniture and clean more thoroughly. that said i would stay there again
