Need some renovation for sure. But fantastic furniture spacious rooms (heritage) all rooms overlooking the pool nice gym good bar and restaurant with good food and staff. I heard that the furniture mirrors etc used to be owned by the Mysore maharaja "

"A Pleasant and Hassle-Free Stay
I recently spent over 10 nights at Woodlands Inn, Chennai, and had a smooth, comfortable stay throughout. Although the hotel was fully booked, the staff remained exceptionally courteous, prompt, and attentive to every need. Even the housekeeping and support staff were consistently helpful, respectful, and never once showed signs of complaint — a real credit to the hotel's service standards. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, clean, and fully functional — I faced no issues with amenities, bathrooms, or plug points. Special thanks to Mr. Shashikant and Mr. Mohammed, who provided seamless support from the time of booking to check-out. Their professionalism truly stood out. Overall, a well-run hotel offering great service. Highly recommended.

This is the worst hotel I have ever like in. It is on a very busy road so the noise from the traffic is deafening. It is also next to a mosque so you get early morning wake up calls.
The hotel itself is very badly managed. The staff and managers are extremely rude. Some of the rooms have no windows and feels like a jail. The bedding was very dirty and they wouldn’t change it even asking numerous times. It truely is a tremble place to stay.
