"Gymn and facilities excellent. Very friendly reception upon arrival and we asked for a quieter room and were provided with that. Left alone until we went out each day and room replenished and clean when back."

"The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The sea view rooms have great views. Location is also very convenient. But the fire alarm went off at 2am one of the nights and nearly gave me a heart attack. It went off again the same night and i’ve never been startled like that before."

"Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience."

"We only stayed one night. Family of 4 in a family garden room. Lovely room! Huge!! Could do with being updated but it will not stop us booking again. The only thing that stuck out was breakfast, I had a decafe tea and my husband had pot of coffee. It wasn’t very nice at all (I feel it was the cheaper tea bags and coffee?) The cooked breakfast was delicious and the waiting staff very helpful. Maybe some more pastries on offer would be amazing!! We enjoyed our one night very much. Thank you "

"Room was nice paint flaking in the bathroom. Pool area very run down, bar area not welcoming either Staff initially on arriving were very abrupt verging on rude but were more pleasant laterv on."
