"We’d booked a sea view room but then upgraded to one even larger and a bottle of chilled fizz! Wonderful to be able to sit by a bay window watching the activities in the estuary and harbour. Lots of drinks options in the room, tea, coffee hot chocolate and water. Breakfast was also excellent. Friendly helpful staff. We’ll be back! "
"Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept.
Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible.
Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared.
We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't really go the whole 2 nights we were there and the furnishings felt tired and grubby - the carpet was stained and the vanity chair was so stained we actually removed it from the room.
This said, we would 100% stay at the hotel again, but would choose a different room."
