"Historic, close to garden, ocean and centre. My room was a bit hot and traffic was noisy. Breakfast was great, yoga in St Clemens ruins each day was glorious. "
"The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms."
"The hotel is right on a large park, the botanical gardens, and is a 3 minute walk to the Visby Wall and Baltic Sea shore for watching incredible sunsets."
"Just as Visby is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend, the hotel is quiet, clean and very well located, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and harbour (just be aware that the climb up to the hotel can be a good exercise for the legs).
The staff were very welcoming and showed a great deal of attention to helping me check in late and make my stay a pleasant one.
I also found the breakfast delicious and wide-ranging.

"I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. Itâs a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates."

"Central Visby is noisy in the evening, so this hotel is of course affected, but the location is great for daytime. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the whole place was spotlessly clean and in great condition, no signs of wear and tear. Comfortable beds, and although not a huge range for breakfast, the selection was fresh and tasty.
Lovely decking area at the front, for breakfast, or a coffee in the afternoon, away from the crowds. "
"Excellent property, friendly staff, and beautiful location in Visby. Rooms are simple but in great condition and stocked with all the essentials. Good breakfast every morning, plus coffee and tea included in the stay. Would recomment for a relaxing getaway in Visby"
"This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there."
