"This was a lovely B&B run by the sweetest couple! From the moment we arrived, we felt like a part of the family. The room was spacious and beautiful, the property was spectacular, and the breakfast was the most delicious I've ever had. We will definitely stay here again, and we recommend staying here to everyone."

"Beautiful gardens surround the property. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Hour hosts were welcoming and friendly. A lovely bed and breakfast experience. "
"This is a great place to stay!!! We loved our time here. The view, the decor and outside deck were our favourite. We Stayed for 2 nights for the Rock Hound Gemboree and we really loved how close it was to the venue but still far away enough to give a great cottage feel. The lake was so warm and we loved the inflatable kayak! The cottage was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. One thing were didn’t realize was the layout of the rooms - one was located in the lower I guess basement area which could only be accessed outside the cottage and it was very cold and musty. No one used this bed as it was isolated and we were concerned about having to go to the washroom at night. This is not a cottage if you have mobility issues as there is a long walkway to the cottage from where you park and we did notice a loose rock step, also steep steps to get in the front door and although the bunkie is close it’s also a steep hill. The other main rooms and interiors were great as was the bunkie and we all reallly loved how soft all the bedding was!! Oh, please note that at the waste disposal they no longer accept recycling so we had to take that home with us, on a fun note there was a large black bear at the dump!! Overall, we all felt this was a great place to stay and really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend to others. We had a great time in a beautiful cottage."
"The place was great. Had everything we needed. The host was the best. Lost power due to a storm and he had a generator hooked up within an hour or two and we were back in business! Thanks Joe. "
"We had the best time with Linda and Gord!!
Exceptional hospitality and lots of laughs. Delicious breakfasts, gorgeous home and lovely, lovely hosts. You will definitely leave Jewel on the Hill with a tummy full of food and a heart filled with new friends and memories. Thank you Linda and Gord! We hope to see you again sometime. "

"An amazing place to escape from the world without travelling too far. There is lots to do nearby and the set up of the cottage gives you good amount of privacy from neighbouring cottages. Host is readily accessible and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!"
