St. Patricks Holidays

We stayed at Pirates Inn recently, July 2026 this was our fourth time. I also stayed as a solo guest. What I liked about Pirates Inn, it’s a great place, intimate, not crowded, very safe has security at night. It’s off the main road, but very close to all amenities. Local supermarkets and eateries within walking distance. Our studio with balcony was located on the first floor, there’s no lift, with a huge bed which was comfortable, pillows were too soft for me, that’s my preference but comfortable. En suite bathroom was spacious, lots of space in the walk in wardrobe area. There’s a safe, iron and ironing board. There’s a small kitchenette with everything you need. There’s a non electric kettle which I really liked, it doesn’t take long to boil. Some people complained that it wasn’t an electric kettle, it works perfectly. They also provided washing up liquid which is a plus. Rooms are cleaned daily. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The shower was amazing. Staff members were friendly and interacted with the guests. Any issues were dealt with promptly. Koby was so nice and helpful and very professional. The older lady who cleaned our room was also nice unfortunately I forgot her name. There is room for improvement to some aspects of the bathroom. I have already seen the hard work that has gone into the property since I was there last especially the front of the building. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again and also as a solo female.

We understood that it was not peak vacation time in Barbados, but the resort was empty. The resort did not conduct any activities they had listed for the pool or the beach. No music being played - very low key. Restaurant choices very limited and one night there was even same menu two nights in a row. Very limited buffets. LOVED the staff at the spa! Definitely visit. The room was beautiful - very spacious and the view was wonderful.
