"The 3 units divided from an old 1958 house has large gaps between units. No service provided and no response to photos and video. No hot water no wifi or tv remote. No dryer so if you swim, pack wet clothes in suitcase. No soap in shower and towels were rags. Suite with kitchen had 3 greasy frying pans and white powder in drawers. Frig sounded lijke an airplane. "I had booked this place for 2 days, it was a valentines getaway from my fiancé.. we'll check in we walked in and I instantly heard yelling from across the hall, cussing, kids screaming etc.. "Property was built in 1962 so you can expect an older beach town setting …. Although they have upgraded the rooms you still see have an old motel type of feel to it ….. the pools were dated and a lot of patch work easily seen…. The staff was amazing and very professional and friendly. Rum Runners bar and grill was surprisingly pretty good for bar beach food . Parking was $25 a day and theirs a $40 a day resort fee so don’t think all you’re paying for is the room price. I would give it overall 2.5-3 out of 5 stars…. Staff would get a 5 star rating."

"Excellent stay. The hotel is only about a year old, so everything felt fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the entire property had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"“Daily” housekeeping isn’t daily. We had to call to request our room to be cleaned on day 3. They would start at one end of the hallway in the morning and still didn’t get to our room til their shift ended. Had to request basic necessities like toilet paper multiple times. Front desk didn’t have any toilet paper when I asked, they said they would send someone up with some. Laundry was out of soap in the dispenser. Room was gross with stains on carpet and lamp shades. Elevators constantly not working. Valet parking is only option and outrageously priced for not even covered parking. This “resort” was worse than some budget hotels. Not worth the price at all."

"In a noisy, chaotic spot, do not expect relaxation. This is not really much the fault of the hotel but we did have the misfortune of being located next to a parking garage where there was a couple impromptu car meets (fml). Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the gym and the hotel breakfast was decent and an ok value compared to the other restaurants nearby. The parking, unless valeted, is not convenient at all and kinda dirty. Super expensive too. Location is pretty decent to the beach but I’m not sure how great of a hotel it is for a hardcore beach goers."

"Highly recommend! The Don CeSar is truly one of Florida's most iconic beachfront destinations. The location on St. Pete Beach is exceptional, with beautiful white sand and some of the most amazing sunsets you'll ever see. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, and the resort amenities made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. Whether lounging by the pool, walking the beach, or enjoying a cocktail while watching the sunset, the experience felt luxurious and memorable. I can't wait to return."
