Full disclosure, this is not a typical Montana Cabin. This post-industrial Container-style home is exciting to the point of Edgy. This is the Heart of Montana, not in the cutesy way but literally the center of flowing life. At your feet flows the Clark Fork of the Columbia, carrying all of Western Montana's water to the ocean. Behind you is the BNSF railroad: MT's industrial artery. Above you is US-10 and I-90 carrying the human past and future. You are tucked in the middle, safe and cozy.
Inside:
There is one private bedroom and a loft. Both have King size beds. The loft doubles as the TV lounge. Downstairs is the bathroom, the full kitchen and the living room. The living room is dominated by the river views through the industrial glass roll-up doors. In the winter, watch the icy water flow by while you bask in the warmth of the gas fireplace.

Outside:
The railroad tracks are right behind the building. The highway is right above the building. The river is right in front of the building. Through planning and construction (no windows on the railroad side) the environmental noise has been minimized; However this location is not tranquil, it is lively. If you are a light sleeper or unable to relax in a bustling urban noisescape this will not be your cup of tea.
This property consists of a small patch of peace in a flood of hustle and momentum. The guests have full access to the parking area, the home, the fire pit area, and the river bank down to the river. There are no other people on the property, but there will be fishermen floating by and railroad workers riding trucks to work nearby.
This property closely abuts many potentially hazardous areas, including a deep flowing river and live railroad tracks. This is not an ideal location for children or outside pets. Children and pets must be kept under uninterrupted supervision.
