We had to stay here due to our flight being cancelled because of the attack on Venezuela and they took care of us! The young man in the office was so accommodating and respectful. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s amazing that they have a laundry facility onsite. Would highly recommend!

There were 3 pools to choose from and the dining options were convenient and diverse. The views were excellent from our apartment which overlooked the marina. The staff of the complex were friendly and accommodating.

Sud’s was a great restaurant. Delicious food and good service. Confusing where the office is located and taxi drivers do not know where either. No safe or beach towels in our room.

Everyone was courteous. Finding the place wasn’t easy. But we had a rental car. The room had a great view. It was next to an amazing bar and pool. Our only downfall was we found a crack pipe/ crack vile/ bag of weed and another pipe hidden on top of the kitchen cabinet. Management didn’t take responsibility for it claiming it was probably a previous tenant left it behind. Didn’t offer us any compensation, or anything. We felt uneasy about it and didn’t let housekeeping in. Worried maybe someone would come back to get it. I got rid of everything I found as I didn’t want it in our possession. Other than that the staff were all very nice especially the staff at Sudi’s Bar where we had delicious fish tacos.

I would recommend staying here if you want to be in the Sapphire Bay Area. Our room was very nice and spacious and included a patio that overlooked the marina. My only complaint with the room was that the bathroom door didn’t open or close easily due to the wood being warped. The property included beach access and restaurant options; I’d like to in particular call out Sudi’s Bar and Grille for being a great breakfast choice. The swimming pool area is decent but could use a little TLC. I also wasn’t very happy with my check-in as the person we worked with did not greet us warmly or provide us with much information. There’s not much to do in the immediate area other than the beach, so be prepared to have a rental or use a taxi. Luckily the latter is very easy to catch as there was always one around.

So close to Sapphire Beach and the Marina and the views are wonderful! You can visit St John from the Marina without having to go to the ferry!

Overall, I would rate my stay a 7/10**. This was my first vacation with my boyfriend, so the trip itself was special, but there were a few aspects of the accommodations that could have been improved. I was notified, less than two weeks ahead of arrival that initial deposit payment for the room was not cleared and I was subjected to lose my reservation. The reservation was booked over 7 months prior and no accomodations were made considering this was an oversight of the property. The check-in process was a bit confusing. I had to call for assistance because the check-in location wasn't clearly marked, and once we arrived, the property map wasn't very helpful in locating our room. I was also disappointed that our reservation was for an **ocean-view room, but we were assigned a first-floor room overlooking the walking path rather than the ocean. That was not the experience expected based on our booking. The room itself had a noticeable dewy smell upon arrival, although it was clean and well maintained overall. The cleanliness and comfort helped make the stay enjoyable despite the initial issues. While there were some disappointments, we still made wonderful memories together on our first vacation as a couple. With clearer communication, directions, a more accurate room assignment, and attention to the room odor, the experience could have easily been much better.

We loved our stay at Sapphire Village. We enjoyed the close walk to the beautiful beach. Everyone on the property was so kind and wonderful to us. We went to Sudi’s and had a great time. Also Red Hook and the St John Ferry are very close and convenient. Would recommend, we would love to visit/stay here again.
