"Quiet and well appointed. Garden did have an end of winter overgrowth but given the weather and makeup of our group it was not an issue. Would definitely consider a return with a few more friends as this would make it a very cost effective option. Lots of small touches to make it feel ‘homely’. The undercover BBQ was a great feature for us."

"Our unit was located in a quiet area as requested. Parking was easy and right outside our unit. The bed was comfortable. Apart from the bathroom being a bit dated (I hate shower curtains) the unit was nice. I would have liked block out curtains and windows that open. I have stayed here twice and would return."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Jilba Cottage over the long weekend. The cottage was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. The checkin process was smooth and hosts were available to answer questions before and during the stay. The continental breakfast and eggs on the first morning was yum! Jilba cottage is a great base to explore the Porongarups and Stirling Ranges, and only 30 minutes from Mount Barker and Albany allowing lots of opportunities for hikes and exploring."

"The host Vanessa was excellent, and the property was in a perfect condition and convenient location, only a short walk to town. No spa pool as advertised. However, I would highly recommend!"
