Located 6 miles from the Swift Run Gap Entrance at Shenandoah National Park sits 'Just Us' a studio cabin in the woods recently updated and ready for our nature loving friends! The cabin features a gas fireplace, hot tub, outdoor firepit, and downstairs pool table. The property also features a .25 mile walking trail for your morning or evening walk! The cabin has T-Mobile internet with Rokus. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended for access. Property is approximately 15-20 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyards, 30 minutes from Barboursville Vineyards, 20 minutes from Elkton Brewing Company, and 30 minutes from Massanutten Resort.

Perfect vacation

This cabin was a perfect place for our girls weekend with 2 dogs. It was quiet, close to Shenandoah national park, wineries. I would definitely stay again without hesitation!

Cozy Cabin

This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. There’s privacy and seclusion, but still not far from grocery stores, breweries and wineries. Not having to worry about bringing towels and linens was a definite plus! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We will be back!

Short Trip to Paradise

We stayed at Just Us during the week of my son’s spring break and had an amazing time just relaxing in the mountains and enjoying some peace and quiet. The cabin is very private which is nice and has all the necessary amenities (plus a few extras!) we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Beautiful clean secluded

My husband I stayed here for 2 nights on pretty short notice. Not familiar with the area, we weren’t sure what to expect. This cabin was AMAZING! Clean, beautiful, secluded inside and out. It was the best stay of our 10 day traveling trip. Thank you!!

Great cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway everything was very clean and a lot of little nice touches, such as coffee and toothbrushes/toothpaste for guests. We had packed our own but it was very thoughtful. Hot tub was perfect! Cabin was very secluded which is what we were hoping for.

Amazing Cabin

The cabin was very clean. The grounds are very nice. Perfect location in the woods. Communicating with Carrie was a pleasure, she would reply right away or answer the phone when we needed guidance getting to our cabin.

Perfect fall getaway!

Our stay was absolutely perfect and serene! The cabin is truly adorable and everything we could have asked for! The hot tub is a great addition to the property. We wish we could have stayed longer! It’s about a 15 minute drive to Shenandoah’s entrance and about a 20 minute drive to stores/shops/multiple restaurants. The area has plenty of beautiful wineries and great breweries! We will definitely return!

Wonderful!

Quiet and secluded! Just the spot to relax and enjoy a few days together. It was absolutely wonderful. Check in was a breeze and the owner was responsive. The property was available so my wife and I wound up staying an extra day. Didn't want to leave.

Peaceful and Relaxing Cabin

A wonderful cabin! Comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The hot tub was wonderful and so was the gas fireplace and outdoor firepit. It's. tricky drive, but manageable if you just take it slow! So relaxing!

Peaceful mountain retreat in the mountains

This rental was everything we were hoping for and more. Tucked away in the mountains, it felt like our own little slice of peaceful seclusion—quiet, serene, and surrounded by nature. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and super cozy, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch and winding down in the evenings with the stars overhead while relaxing in the hot tub.One of the best parts was how close it was to Shenandoah National Park—just a quick 10-minute drive to the entrance, which made it so convenient for hiking and exploring during the day. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to the park, this is the perfect spot. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was secluded yet close to the Shenandoah entrance. Our daughter loved having her own space downstairs and called it her apartment. The cabin was well stocked with coffee, kitchen supplies, and movies/games. Our host was incredibly responsive as well. We were sad to go.

Romantic Secluded Cabin

This was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a milestone anniversary. I looked at several properties but kept coming back to this one. It did not disappoint. We appreciated the hot tub and the pool table. It was too warm to use the fireplace and thanks to the hurricane was too wet to enjoy the outdoor amenities and the walking trails except for our first evening, but both are a bonus.

Cute little cabin in the woods

We stayed at “Just Us” for a three day anniversary trip and really enjoyed our time there! We loved the hot tub, chilling on the back porch, sitting by the fire at the fire pit, and walking the trail behind the cabin in the woods! Carrie was a great host who was friendly, communicative, and quick to respond when I had any questions. Some of the things we did while we were in the area were lunch and shopping at Yoder’s market, breakfast at Bear Appetit, the Farmer’s market on Saturday morning in Standardsville, antique shopping at several antique stores in Ruckersville and Standardsville, Wine tasting at Early Mountain Vineyards, and dinner at El Agave Mexican restaurant in Ruckersville. We would definitely recommend staying at “Just Us” and hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay at Just Us cabin. We appreciated the privacy and cleaniness of the cabin. We enjoyed building fires in the fire pit and sitting on the back porch. We visited the Shenandoah National Park, which is close to this property. We would love to coming back for another relaxing time.

Cabin was very cozy with comfy beds and furniture. We blocked the spiral staircase to keep the dogs safe. We enjoyed the deck, and spent time in Shenandoah National Park. We visited the clay festival. Great weather! Nice visit!
