Comfy Cosey -Top Notch!

Absolutely loved the room theme. Very warm and cosey. Incredible views of the foliage and valley below. The staff were all very accommodating and courteous. Great find for our 23rd Anniversary Getaway.

Great location for Shenandoah National Park, the lodge, rooms and view are lovely

This is a unique lodge; all the rooms are all different, you get to choose which one you want, and the views are beautiful. We were there in October and felt like we had the place completely to ourselves. It has a great location if you are going to be in Shenandoah National Park, just a few minutes from the SE entrance. The downside was the restaurant hours were minimal, and they were closed on several days. Because of this we never got to eat there. The ice machine was also located in the restaurant and couldn't be used if the restaurant was not open. We had absolutely no water our first night there and ran into another guest that had the same problem, we tried calling someone but only got voicemail. Luckily, we had water bottles with us so we could brush our teeth, and we did have water in the morning so we could shower. I would have expected an apology or something because not having water is kind of a big deal. But other than these couple of things, I would highly recommend this lodge.

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved this lodge and our room. The view and porch rocking chairs were a favorite for star gazing. So convenient to the Skyline Drive. The themed room with a fireplace and incredible decor made for a comfortable evening. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was delicious.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great weekend at Lydia's Mountain! The room was perfect! It was so clean and the decor was fun! Staff was so nice and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Not to mention the service. Thank you for a spectacular weekend away! We will definitely be back!

We loved it!

What a gem Lydia Mountain is! Loved the room decor, and even with snow and fog, the view was lovely this AM. We only live 30 minutes away, but felt we were in another world. It was my birthday and I was offered dessert on the house - delicious cheesecake. All around heavenly!

Another wonderful stay

We have roomed at the lodge many times and have always enjoyed our stay. This time was no exception. Our room was clean, comfortable and uniquely decorated. The staff is great and the setting is very relaxing. Lydia Mountain Lodge will continue to be our “get away” place!
