We loved the seclusion of the location and the easy access to the NP. Kitchen is perfectly stocked with the needed items that we brought to cook. Loved the charcoal grill and was able to use it 2 of the 3 nights. Definitely would stay again if back in the area.
We really loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean, well equipped and in a lovely location near trails. The campfire outside was a huge bonus for us to enjoy the outdoors and eat some s’mores.

Cozy Cabin
We had such a wonderful time at the cabin. It was a nice size, very clean, and comfortable. The location was great, being close to Shenandoah and stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed the hot tub and wood burning stove. The land was very nice. It was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!
My husband and I (and our pup) enjoyed our stay here! While the weather did not cooperate as we hoped for a weekend of hiking, the cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices for cooking. I'd definitely recommend visiting when it's warmer to take advantage of the fantastic wrap around porch and firepit!
Very impressed by the quiet and solitude of the location. Because of almost zero light pollution, we were able to go outside at night and enjoy the stars on an absolutely clear evening. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your warm and inviting cabin.
Love the cabin. Comfy and very well kept. The area is quiet. After a long day hiking relaxing at the hot tub to sounds of nature was the best.
Highly recommend it.
The property had beautiful views and everything that we needed for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent hours on the wraparound porch. It's close enough to Standardsville for a quick grocery run, if needed.

Calm, cozy, and clean!
Enjoyed a super relaxing weekend at this cabin! Everything we needed was readily available. The hot tub was a superior touch! Will be booking again in the future.
The property was full of everything we needed to spend a week hiking in Shenandoah during the day and relaxing in the peace and quiet at night. The grill and hot tub made for fantastic evenings. There are a lot of fine details at the property that made it feel very welcoming and let us de-stress without worry. Would love to stay again in the fall or winter for a different experience.
This property had everything we wanted... Privacy, nature, a wonderful hot tub, so close to so many hikes, shops, wineries and more. We were greeted with a hand written welcome note, wine and snacks, and found everything we needed to be comfortable. I would love to go back and stay!!
My husband and I rented this little cabin for a long weekend, just him and I, and it was perfect! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do - which was hike and fly fish. We could drive minutes to do both! We loved hiking Graves mill trail which is along the river and so beautiful. Bill was so helpful and responsive with anything we needed. Thank you for sharing this cute little cabin!
The cabin had everything we needed and then some :)We love animals so to hear the story about Roxie and to see 'lots' of raccoons everywhere was precious! We loved the jacuzzi! And the fire pit was so awesome that we're going to build one at our house! Then there's the great Conway river that gave my husband, who is a geologist, a ring stone that's very rare to find! And weighs 100 pounds! Luray Caverns were incredible and we spent time hiking the AT and finding local blueberry, blackberry and strawberry jellies! All-in-all it was just the way we wanted to spend our '35'th Wedding Anniversary!

Very Nice Hideaway
We enjoyed our weekend visit. The cabin is an ideal location to springboard to trails nearby and has most things you might need. The owners do seem to care in that regard and we appreciated the complimentary snacks and local wine. We woke up to snow on the last day which was a lovely sight. Only improvements would have been for the hot tub to have been warm enough to use on our first day (because it was drained per CDC guidelines there was not enough time for it to warm up before we crashed). Look forward to future adventures.

Great place for a relaxing weekend
The cabin was perfect for my wife and I to spend a long weekend. It is cozy and comfortable. We found several “extras” we weren’t expecting. Really showed how much the owners cared about our business. The kitchen allowed us to cook what meals we wanted to. Your also close enough to plenty of restaurants to visit. There is a small permanent outside grill that was nice to have also. The hot tub was perfect on the cool nights. Jump in and relax. Then being able to come in to a nice warm room with a fire in the stove was perfect!

Peace
If you're looking for a place to escape this is it. The drive in is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The cabin is nestled into the trees which gives you the feeling of being in your personal tree house. We loved how easy it was to feel at home as soon as we walked in. The cabin was so clean thanks to Nina and the little touches were so thoughtful. The hot tub was amazing. Just sitting out there and listening to the birds, frogs and the leaves in the breeze was something we rearly get to do because of where we live. Watching the fireflies dance in the trees brought back wonderful childhood memories. We loved our time at SRC and are already planning another trip this fall. Thank you Bill & Lori for sharing this special place with us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area is quiet, the cabin cozy. The host provided every amenity and several thoughtful touches, offering a welcoming visit. The cabin was clean, well provisioned, and private. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
