Geweldig, Wat mooi nog steeds. We waren er voor de tweede keer en weer prachtig. Wat een rust Wat een mooie natuur. Veel vogels, schitterende tuin. Fijn zwembad. Prachtig kamer, zitkamer, badkamer. Uitstekende service, gastvrij personeel. Heerlijk gedineerd!! Prima ontbijt! Veel te zien in de omgeving

wunderschön gelegene Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft liegt an ruhiger Lage zwischen Stanford und Gaansbaai. Die Suiten sind sehr gross und originell eingereicht. Der Ausblick vom Restaurant ist überwältigend und das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Sehr netter Besitzer und freundliches Personal.

Wunderschön gelegen. Toller Ausblick.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit toller Terasse/Pool. Blick über 20 km bis zu den Bergen, Hermanus und bis zum Strand. Nett die bunten Webervögel, die in den Palmen ihre Nester bauen. Essen/Verpflegung super. Bedienung/Personal sehr freundlich. Hilfreich bei allen Fragen zu Ausflügen und Wanderungen, die wir unternommen haben. Der Besitzer kommt ursprünglich aus der Schweiz und hatte Zeit für nette Gespräche.

Toller Country place in Strandnähe.

Leitung und Personal des Country Place waren sehr gut. Die Unterkunft übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Der Pool war sauber und die Liegen mit dicken Polstern versehen. Viele Vögel sorgten am Morgen und Abend für angenehme Naturgeräusche. Der Sternenhimmel war überwältigend.

Haven of oppulance

Lucked out here by finding accommodation that was the height of luxury and sophistication in an area quite remote .. was great to have such a place to stay after the shark diving and the staff couldn't be more helpful .. the whole place was opened just for the 4 of us on the last day of the season .. obviously quiet as a result but was like 'millionaires dining' experience .. thoroughly recommend.

Hotel dat zijn naam eer aandoet: overweldigend!

Waren de enige gasten en verbleven in een zeer ruim en prachtig gedecoreerd appartement in een apart woonhuis naast huis met kantoor en restaurant. Rust overal! 2 Zitgelegenheden bij elk appartement. Groot heerlijk bed in luxe slaapkamer met dito badkamer, baden met uitzicht op de natuur! Gratis WiFi, groot tv-scherm met talloze kanalen. Kleine moderne keuken. Het buitengebeuren is schitterend, het hotel doet zijn naam eer aan. Prachtig zwembad met uitzicht op bergen en zee, fijne ligstoelen. Alles staat elke dag klaar.Eigenaar zeer relaxed. Ontbijt op maat. Kan buiten gegeten worden mét uitzicht. Restaurant open, óók voor 2 personen. Eten redelijk goed. Wij waren zeer enthousiast over dit hotel. Het appartement is modern maar warm ingericht. Er zijn 4 appartementen op de begane grond in groot mooi gebouw. Elk met veel privacy.

Rest, relaxation and a stunning view

We stayed for two nights in the well-appointed Family Cottage in April. It's a little separate from the rest of the lodge buildings and highly recommended. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic and served with a smile. The views over the fynbos fields, the ocean and the mountains in the distance are unbeatable. A great day trip is to drive around the Stanford area and the beach towns in the vicinity. There's lots of great restaurants and wine tasting right on the doorstep. A lovely stay indeed! We'll be back :)
