10/10 Excellent

"Lots of trailheads nearby to explore including the Appalachian trail. We walked to the Big Meadow lodge and back in one day but it was a bit too much. Wish they had some kind of a shuttle between the two lodges. The dining room has decent food but closes by 9pm. We had a premium room and it has AC (need in the summer) and a fridge but no microwave and the view was excellent."

"Last minute while traveling back to NY we decided to get a hotel for the night . I was traveling with my husband and two children. Honestly room was perfect with kitchen area, we walked to Walmart less then block away grabbed some food to cook. Family hit the gym while washing some laundry across the hall. We were greeted by Kosar at the front desk- was xtremely helpful, informative, and was able to put my mind at ease after our super long travel day. I have worked and went to college in hospitality industry- kosar did everything right. Informed me as needed and found common ground to make us feel welcomed and appreciated, if I were evaluating his service he would have recieved a 100% I even watched as he assisted with other guests as well. He is an asset to your team, and just want to thank yall for a great unplanned stay."

"Some rooms have a/c, some don’t. Ours didn’t. It was cool enough at night with windows open, but took a while to cool off with fan. Overall a nice facility and good location in the park. Didn’t have to leave the park and drive 35-50 miles one way to find a place to stay, then drive back the next day."

"It was hard to understand and ask for help. When we asked for help at staff nobody knew anything. Ordering food at the basecamp was a mess. got the wrong order (alfredo sauce instead of basil tomato soup) and never got the rest of the food after waiting a long time. Closing of adventure park on Thursday was unexpected and horrible. Booking the new coaster was impossible eventhough that was the main reason we went. IT was booked and not intuitive to find the link to book ahead of time."

"We stayed July 10-12 and it was a very wonderful and relaxing stay. Me and my Girlfriend at the time ( Now fiancée ) got engaged at the yurt and it will always be apart of our lives. The host is very responsive and is very good at communication. I definitely recommend staying a couple nights because it is very relaxing and a very unique place. The only downside is that it is next to a main road and it can get very loud at times , because the yurt is basically a tent. Other than that 10/10."
