"Could not fault, one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at. The guest lounge area was just gorgeous! Beautiful breakfast included. We will return for sure!"
"Very nice B&B in scenic, peaceful town of Stanley. Rhonda & Chris are gracious hosts who provide excellent service and maintain the facility in pristine condition. The amenities are modern and the tasty breakfast is served in a cozy dining room. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark and would have loved to stay longer "

Beautiful town with a very homey feel. There is a big rock called the Nut in the middle of town which you can walk to the top (or via chair lift) and have nice overview of the town, lovely to watch the sunset as well.

Hursey Seafood Restaurant was amazing! Tasty, fresh Tasmanian seafood caught by them. The platter for 2 for $90 was delicious and good value. The Highfield Heritage site was also excellent. Well worth the $15 admittance fee. Do the nut chairlift.
"This accommodation was located facing the water which is exactly what we wanted. It was easy to locate and comfortable and we loved just sitting in the little alcove facing the water."
"Very welcoming open hosts who offer lovely facilities and great guest care. When i jokingly added "boerewors" (unique South African sausage) to the breakfast menu selection, the host drove to Burnie to source some (not easy to find) and lo and behold it appeared on my plate for breakfast! Fantastic service - above and beyond!"
"I absolutely love the style of this property and garden. It is very relaxing and we were lucky to have all the common areas to ourselves being the off season. "
