"The view was great, the room was perfect for my family of 4, with one teenager. I requested clean towels and they got them up to the room very quickly. Staff was very nice, the pool area was fun & clean and the entrance to the park was easy to get to. I really enjoyed the movies playing in the evening, especially since the weather was so bad, Schlitterbahn actually closed down completely during our stay and there really isn't much to do for kids in the town. Other than the really awful weather, we enjoyed staying at The Bahn and would stay here again! "

"This is a beautiful property right on the Guadalupe River. The quaint rooms have been remodeled, and we loved the retro style. Our only issue was that we were there for four nights and our room was never serviced. We did find a cleaning lady and were able to change out our towels. The day before we left, we asked about having our room serviced and were informed that it was upon request only and even though it was late morning, it was too late to have it done that day we were told. That would have been fine if we had been made aware of that at check-in. The front desk staff was friendly when addressed, however, they are constantly standing around on their cell phones and do not greet customers or engage with customers unless addressed directly. The two maintenance guys that were on the property were super friendly and made sure to greet us and exchange pleasantries whenever passing by. The air-conditioning in the room worked well and the beds were super comfortable. Overall, our experience was good. I would just recommend training front desk, staff and implementing a cell phone usage policy in guest areas."
