Located in the heart of downtown Star, enjoy your stay at this beautifully restored cottage whether it's to survey the Boise area, visit relatives and friends, or try a new way of living small-town life.

Centrally located to many eateries, shops, and the Star Riverwalk. Walking distance to Beer Guys saloon, Star Country Cafe, and the original Star Mercantile.

Bring your well-behaved pets and explore all that growing Star has to offer.

Our beautiful home is a newly restored 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a large, enclosed yard (pet friendly), garden, and indoor fireplace to cozy up to during the cold season.

Entirely renovated home (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, HVAC, windows, refinished floors) while preserving its original charm.

BEDS: The main bedroom is a brand new queen bed frame and mattress with it’s own large closet.

The second bedroom also has its own large closet and drawers and contains a trundle bed with a pullout mattress that raises up to the level of the day bed. This expands the sleeping space to a double, allowing for more space for guests to sleep.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- This older and quaint home maintained a lot of its original charm, so please note there is no dishwasher on site, the original wooden drawers take a little more effort to open and close, and there isn’t a paved driveway or garage at this old farmhouse.
- There are two clean, secure, and spacious sheds in the backyard that guests can use for extra storage with the hosts permission along with a fee depending on how much storage is needed.

Best place to stay in Idaho

This was the most amazing place to stay! The house was beautiful and extremely clean, the town of Star had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The communication with our hostess was spot on and easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location, love this house!

The house is on a sweet little street in a neighborhood just off the main road. It's within walking distance to all the fun night spots and breakfast places in the heart of Star. The air conditioning was awesome. We loved the floorplan, felt really comfortable and safe. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and the shower water pressure was excellent.

Fully Fenced Yard

Great home with nice fully fenced yard. Easy access to freeway, grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations. There is plenty of parking and kitchen essentials. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Boise area.

Perfect little home

We rented the VRBO for one of our vendors. Jack had a great stay! He said the owner was helpful and quick to respond. He said the home was great, very comfortable. He loved the location as he could walk downtown for dinner and local attractions. Our interactions with the host during the booking process was easy. Highly recommend!

Star Cottage

We were going to Meridian to visit family and needed a place to stay that took dogs. The cottage had a big grassy fenced in yard that was perfect. We enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard in the early mornings at the little cafe table. We did lots of cooking and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back next year.

This is our third year staying in the cottage. It’s very cozy for just the two of us and it’s only five minutes from my house in Star. We loved the comfort of the new bed. The couch remains a little difficult to sit on for very long because it’s uncomfortable. But everything else was perfect

Hospitality Plus

My puppy, Zac, I stayed in Brianna’s cozy rental for a month while we waited for our new home to be ready. We could not have asked for a more generous or accommodating hostess. Brianna offered over the top hospitality and this bungalow is nicely appointed. Location is great in the heart of Star. And the food truck just down the street at The Star Mercentile is not to be missed, nor the iconic shopping spot itself. Our experience was positive in every way. Thank you.

Our cottage in Star, ID

We were very happy with the cottage - it was very clean and just the right size for my husband and me, our son and his 2 young sons. We especially loved the roses and the back porch. All of the appliances worked fine, and we appreciated Breanna's notebook full of useful information. We were a little surprised that the coffee maker was a Keurig, rather than the drip/pot shown in the photo, and that there were no coffee pods (or tea bags). Also, there was no shampoo or conditioner, measuring cups or spoons - our 4-year old grandson likes to bake with me (we bought a measuring cup). Overall, though, we were very satisfied with our cottage in Star.

Fantastic little cottage in downtown Star Idaho. Quiet neighborhood, close to just about everything and owner (Breanna) was super to work/communicate with. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location

Breanna's place was just what we needed for our trip to Star. The wedding we attended was just a few blocks away so the location was perfect. The house is a cute little home that size-wise was very adequate for my husband and I and our 2 teenage boys. It is a quaint older home that has been updated, well-maintained, cleaned, and well-stocked. The weather was a bit warm, so we also found the AC worked great. Breanna was easy to contact, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Main Street Cottage Stat

This is our second year staying at this property. Next year hopefully will be our third year. When we walk in it feels like a home. I love being able to communicate with Brianna. Starting to feel like she’s my daughter. We are both in our mid 70s and she accommodates everything we need.
