"I stayed here one night and it was a good property, not a great property as it's dated. The beach area was nice and I recommend a lakeside facing room. It's about a 15 minute walk to Sheplers Ferry and most of the restaurants; however, there are two local breweries within a 5-10 minute walk. I used the jacuzzi which was quite nice and the indoor pool was spacious. Breakfast was very average, but is included in the price. I've stayed here before and I'll stay here again. "

"It's such a great location, the staff were so nice and it is clean but it's definitely NOT a nicer or upper scale hotel. Best Western used to be where the rich people stayed. Obviously that is no longer the case. The rooms are tiny. The bathroom doesn't even have a sink in it its in the main room...geoss! Everyone gets to watch you brush your teeth and shave and after you potty you have to come out before you can wash your hands. The hand and body soap, shampoo, and conditioner smells atrocious....
