"Great location. Close enough to Kings Beach, yet on a quiet mountain road. It is a terraced property, built on a hill. So there are stairs to navigate to get to the front door. The beds were very comfortable and they were many fans to keep us cool while sleeping at night. The kitchen had everything we needed. The backyard deck had a nice lake view through the trees. The hot tub was clean and hot and ready for a soak. I would recommend this property and I would return."

"Ginger was the most gracious host- greeting us in person to show us her beautiful home with warm brownies and a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge. Every amenity you can imagine exists in the home from scented hand lotion , fully stocked kitchen , nice bbq, to water and cokes in the fridge. There's plenty of linens and shower supplies, extra blankets and tv in every room. The house is spotless and the view of Lake Tahoe from the deck and main floor is breath taking.. a truly charming home with a tranquil vibe."

"My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and fell in love with the place. The view is breathtaking and the house is perfect for a couple. It feels like home. Close to everything you need but in a private neighborhood which is very nice. Don’t be afraid of the no AC, we came in the middle of July and the house stayed around 70 the whole time. The house is in the shade so we kept the windows open the whole time, which was very nice as well to have the fresh air. We will be back!"

"Overall, a clean nice property. However both oven and grill did not work at all during our stay, which caused some last minute scrambling/challenges for meal prep (during a very busy holiday weekend). It also would have been helpful to read in the property description about how strict the neighborhood is re: noise, etc. We realize that most, if not all, properties have noise restrictions (and are totally fine with that), however we were even told by the host that this neighborhood is unique/very strict in regards to enforcement. Our host was great about informing us when there was an issue, but given our group of 10 (families/young adults/older kids), we would have chosen a spot that was maybe less restrictive. We've never run into any issues anywhere in the past with our group (over many years) and it was just hard to live up to what seemed to be the neighborhood expectations during the 4th of July holiday weekend."
