"The room we were given Had food and dust particules in the 2" space below the microwave. the front of the A/C was off so there was no filter. there was a thick layer of dust on the dresser. The counter top had broken loose from the wall and was about an inch below where it was supposed to be. The carpet was stained. When I asked for another room I was told the room was fine but they would give us another room. The second room was clean other than the stains on the floor. The walls had drywall patches that were not even sanded much less painted. There were three patches all over 8 inches round. This property is only interested in making money with no concern for it's guest."

"First I’ll talk about the pros. In Valdosta, this is considered elevated….I’ll take it. The decor was cute, but the fixtures were cheap. Simple fixes like, a toilet paper dispenser that worked, more room to put your shower necessities, and somewhere to unload your suit case would be nice. There was a room attached to the bathroom that would be perfect for lockers…since we were in the Law & Order room! Okay, Cons. First off, the code didn’t work to get in the room. After going back and forth with the receptionist on the PHONE, she was finally able to help me get in the door. We had reservations at the restaurant downstairs and we were late because we had to shower after traveling all day. The restaurant had a good aesthetic, but the prices didn’t match up To the quality of food and service. We were their latest reservation, but were rushed instantly. The food was salty, the drinks were basic, and the only thing that was good was our server. Lastly, we are tv people. We like to go to sleep with a timer. We had to move the tv to the bedroom. Some people might like that, but it isn’t something we’re into. Would I stay there again, probably. Would I eat at Oak + Olive again…if my reservation was at 7:00pm and I lowered my expectations."

"The check-in process was easy. The lady asked to see my Expedia reservation so she could see how much I paid for it so she could bring it up on her machine. When she gave me my room key she told me where it was. My husband and I went into the room and discovered a bug filled stinky queen mattress leaning up against the wall in the room. The floor is still weren't swept. Then I turn down the bed to find dirt all over the sheets. I return to the front desk where the lady offered me a new set of sheets so I could go change my bed. And then got the manager who when I showed him the pictures of my room and bed, he said yeah I wouldn't stay there either. I'll refund your money. So I guess I got the cleanest room in the joint which wasn't clean at all."
